Top This - Top Hat Christmas In The Sun Porch

The sun porch is always a happy room in our home, especially this time of the year. When I ordered product for the shop last Spring this darling top hat was meant to be on Bailey's tree in the sun porch.
 The tree is
small in stature, one Bailey chose when he was just a wee guy. Now 14 and ever so tall I still find so much joy in displaying the tree in the sun porch. Each year the ornaments stay the same, the topper and a few pieces of bling here and there change as some of the other decor in the room.
 Welcome!!

I sold the little skates in the shop a couple of years ago. I couldn't resist snatching up a pair for myself. This year I'm over the top with plaid, the crush for this timeless design seems to have taken over many areas of my home this year as well as the shop.

With all the shaking and moving going on Miss Scooter was plum tuckered out. Poor baby, even a sleep she's still some pretty awesome company for me.

I've pulled out all the stops with pillows and throws "every where"!. I've had this pillow I'm guessing over 20 years. Still pretty cute huh?

Some great smelling potpourri for My Betty's vintage dish.

I shared this delightful little corner for the first time HERE I'm amazed at the transformation the pillows have made to the love seat. It was cozy and inviting before, but now even more so.

I'm sure you're whipped after looking through all those pictures, have a seat a cup of tea and we'll visit for a bit.

Thanks for stopping in to view the Sun Porch all decked out for the holidays, next stop more of the kitchen.
Fondly ~ Lynne ~

You have such a nice, roomy sunroom, Lynne. It's a place you can just stretch out and enjoy. You've made it that much more enjoyable with all of the fun touches throughout for the Christmas season. The tree is FABulous!!!

You have a lot of really terrific touches throughout. Those little ice skates that you used to sell in your shop are just darling!

Lynn, this room just looks like Christmas. All of the green and red make it such a happy and inviting room. The Christmas tree is so pretty and a perfect size for this space. Your love seat looks beautiful with the Christmas pillows and the pretty Christmas tea set. I think if I had a room decorated like this, I would stop my Christmas decorating and just sit and enjoy this room. laurie

The top hat is fantastic, Lynne! Do you have them in your shop to sell?
Last week I saw a tree in a restaurant that was decorated like a snowman. I loved it and would like to make a smaller one for a tabletop. This one was full size and greeted the people in the entrance.:) The tree was white which served as the snowman's body. They had a lovely top hat on him. They used round black package bows for the (coal) buttons and I'm thinking maybe there were smaller ones for the eyes and mouth, (can't remember that) The nose was of course in a carrot shape with orange yarn wrapped around what I assume may have been a piece of styrofoam. (Probably what I would use to get the carrot shape) He was holding a large candy cane. It was lovely and so festive!
