Thank You For Your Prayers

The past few days have been quite the roller coaster ride. After them taking 14 1/2 pounds of fluid off Mr. P I now have him home and he's doing much better. While in the hospital we were given another diagnosis.. so something else to deal with.
We want to thank each and everyone of you for your prayers, concern and sweet comments. I'll try my best to get around to each of you individually, naturally; I have a lot of catch up to do around here. I'm always so amazed at the kindness from you wonder blogger friends. We are so blessed to call you our friends.

Hospital

Wanted to let you all know I put Mr. P in the hospital today. I'm sure many tests will be ordered tomorrow. I'm reaching out and asking for all your prayers during this time. I'll try to update when I can.

A Kitty on the Table??

Welcome to Tablescape Thursday hosted by Susan at Betweennapsontheporch. It's always a delight each week to see all the beautiful tablescapes. There is so much talent out there in blogland and we're fortunate each Thursday to see a lot of them.

This week I've chosen to repost the blue and white tablescape from a while back. I'm amazed at how I did things then, and how I'm doing them now. lol.. I'm seeing improvement and in the next couple of weeks or so I hope you say the same thing..lol Oh my goodness, there is a kitty on the table...Debbie I promise I didn't bring one of your kitties home with me. It appears to be after something...
I've chosen the cloche dome full of pears as the center piece. The cake stand was a find at TJ Maxx quite a while back. I've put out a donut and cup of coffee just for you.

I've had Miss Kitty for a long time. I'm not sure I remember where I got her, but fell in love and she had to come home with me.

The sugar bowl, cup and saucer is Meakin and was gotten at a friends sale many years ago. I used an antique doily as the placemat.

From above

The plate was found at Hobby Lobby on their 80% isle. That's been a while back.

My daughter knows I love teapots and have quite a few to show for that addiction. This was a gift a few years back. She brought it back while vacationing on the East Coast. Perfect for this table setting.. Hole in the middle matches the hole in the middle of the donut.. lol.... :-))

Miss Kitty is certainly persistant isn't she?
Now, we see why. She was after this adorable mouse. I'm sure many of you recall seeing this little guy other times. I honestly can not remember where I got the adorable little mouse, I've had it for many years.

I'm sure the mouse is singing high praises or praying for Devine Intervention.

Close up of my the beautiful teapot. :-))

Thanks for swinging in today. I've enjoyed you stopping by. Be sure to treat yourself by swinging over to Susan's for a full list of those participating. I'll see you there.

Beautiful Sedum Hues On Outdoor Wednesday

More goodies go
into the Giveaway Basket

Any guesses ?

Welcome to Outdoor Wednesday, hosted by Susan ; A Southern Day Dreamer. Be sure to click here for a full list of those participating. Be prepared for views of beautiful outdoor spaces. Remember a few weeks ago when I showed you the Autumn Sedum in the backyard? The most luscious shade of pink was evident. Along with a few surprises. (excuse my shadow).
Yes, a few bees were busy gathering pollen.
Okay, "a lot" of bees. :-)
I remember hurrying to take this shot, unaware that the blooms were so full of bees. lol

The blooms are so delicate looking. Not quite so delicate that had this bee having any problems hanging on. lol

We go from this lighter shade of pink a couple of weeks ago........

To this rich lush deep color of pink today. Minus the bees. :-))

From this a couple of weeks ago..

To this today. Isn't it wonderful the changes Mother Nature makes?
Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to treat yourself by swinging over by Susan's A Southern Day Dreamer for a full list of participants. I'll see you there.

Rainy Days Means an Inside Project

Second items go into
the basket for the give away

These are the second items that went into the basket for the give away. Can any of you figure what they are? Aren't they happy? I think any of you would enjoy using them. ;-))
With the rains coming down and a bit on the gloomy side inside, what better way to add a bit of brightness than to hang a beautiful Fall wreath. I shopped the house and all the old boxes and put together a new fall wreath. The other one was looking a bit on the shabby side. Bad blogger (slapping hands) I didn't take before pictures. You have to trust me on this one, it was looking "very" shabby. This one is so much better. :-)) Nice and full , perfect for the back door to welcome all of you inside.
The sunflowers I've had for years, another perfect touch to go with all my fall decor. A bit of yellow gold tipped with red. Just my colors. :-))
A new wreath calls for a new bow. I purchased the ribbon a few weeks ago at Hobby Lobby while it was half price. A gorgeous shade of brown and a touch of gold.
And lots of pretty loops. :-))Here's a shot with the back door closed.
And a shot with the door open once again, A view into the laundry room and a wee bit of decor seen through the wreath. :-))
I'm so glad you stopped by today. I've sure enjoyed having you. I'm anxious to see if any of you guessed the next goodie that went into the basket.

~~A Tisket~~ A Tasket~~ A Beautifully ~~Filled Basket~~

Happy Monday my friends. Another busy week looms ahead of us here in the Midwest. The temps have dropped and Fall is definitely in the air. I have to say this is one of my favorite times of the year, I love all the changes it brings. Everything outside turns the most luscious shades of burnt orange. With all the rains we've had this year it promises to be a beautiful Fall.

I'm sure you're wondering what this is all about. Isn't the gingham trim just the sweetest? Let's see if you can guess what this is all about "before" you get to the bottom of the post. No peeking !! Play along with me. :-)) Aren't the pumpkins adorable? And those curly q's falling off the leaves?
Possibly my handiwork? I only wish I had the time. :-( Another hint. Have you figured it out yet?
Had you guessed a basket? Good job!!
I found this basket a few weeks ago and felt it was perfect. Perfect for what you ask? Well, as you can see at the top of my blog we're on count down. Count down to the 1 Year Anniversary of when I started my blog. So, I thought it would be fun to fill it up with all kinds of goodies. By the time I'm finished it will be full to over flowing to the lucky winner. So, be sure to check back daily for updates and a few more hints.
