Pheasants In Flight

Now, everyone needs a little assistance with their holiday decorating, I have to say I've had the best. My Bailey is now 10 and he's helped me for about the last 9 years. The first year we played more than he put ornaments on the tree, but he was right there around my feet while I decorated the tree. lol
Ever so gently he started unwrapping the ornaments.
Placing it just so...... then he tired of putting "these" ornaments on, he said," it wasn't as much fun as the other tree." We didn't get the other tree up while he was here that weekend, but promises to come this weekend and we'll finish the red and gold tree in the living area.
When decorating for Christmas I'm more of a traditionalist, I lean more to the reds, greens and gold for the season. I truly stepped out of my comfort zone when I fell in love with ornaments having to do with deer and pheasants. I purchased several of those ornaments and fondly call this my Pheasant tree. Mr. P. was afraid I would tire of it, go and purchase something else to adorn the tree. Have to say I love the tree, it is perfect in the dining room with the chocolate brown curtains and the brown toile dishes that grace the serving pieces.

Pheasants in flight.

I chose feathers to go with the pheasants as a tree topper.

I hope you enjoyed seeing a bit of the dining room decked out for the holidays, I hope to have more pictures to share in a couple of days. Until next time...
