A Great Magazine and Spot of Tea, Who Could Ask For More?

Love is the great beautifier.

Louisa May Alcott

Thursdays' in Blog land is known as Tablescape Thursday. Hosted by Susan from Betweennapsontheporch. Thank you Susan for hosting a day for us to play with our dishes. It's a treat for each of us to swing by your place each week to find all those participating.

Many of you know I have a "few" tea sets. OK, so I have a lot of them. My poor daughter, she has no idea what she'll truly be walking into one of these days. She sees just a small tip of the iceberg. And what she does see, she like Mr. P. , just shakes her head. Now, I ask you what is wrong with a gal loving dishes? Nothing in my opinion, I'm sure the rest of you dish lovers will agree. :-))

A while back I found these beautiful pieces at TJ Maxx. Trust me, it's been quite awhile. I haven't been shopping in eons! Heaven help me when I actually get an opportunity to go.. lol I love toile, anything with toile, so just "had" to have them. I decided to use them as the center piece for this tablescape. Setting them on the tray seemed the perfect choice. I love trays, and have a "few". I thought this one was perfect for this teaset.

Have you seen this magazine? It's new to me and I've fallen in love with it. It is beautiful from cover to cover. Treat yourself and pick one up, I think you'll like it as much as I do. :-)) May I pour you a spot of tea?

The cup and saucer are ready for you.
The details on the leaves are incredible.Close up of saucer. Even the name Peppertree is cute, don't you think?
As I said a bit earlier, if you haven't seen this magazine, you're in for a treat. With so many magazines closing their doors, I'm thrilled that this one is here.

Biscuit jar, perfect for biscuits or sconces.
Do you need a bit of milk for your tea?
Cute curvy legs. :-)) Close up of biscuit jar.
This is probably as close to a crown as I'm going to get. lol
Side view of tray and handle.

From above.

I can see your cup is empty as well as the teapot, so I must run and make some more for the next guest arriving. I'm so glad you stopped in. Be sure to run by Susan's for a full list of those participating this week. I know we're in for a treat. I'm wondering how many Christmas tablescapes we'll see. I for one am off to go and check it out. lol. See you there.
