~ Dough Bowls and Apples ~

Officially Fall is a few weeks off, with our cool brisk mornings it feels like fall around here, a welcome change after the Summer heat we've had.  Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. Brisk cool mornings, gorgeous fall colors, the smell of pumpkin spice candles burning, and the yummy smell of apple pie baking in the oven. Until I can get to the apple orchard to pick up some fresh apples for baking and decorating with, these will have to do. :-))
The wooden handled edge shows wear and tear from the use over the years, if only those handles could talk the stories they could tell.
Stacked to perfection to show off their curvy edge...Empty...
Or filled...They're a great decorating tool. If you have dough bowls stored away, bring them out for fall, fill them with gourds, apples, pumpkins, or walnuts. The list goes on and on, let your imagination run wild. Have you started your Fall decorating yet? Do you have a favorite piece you bring out each Fall? Is it something you've had for years, or is it something new? I'm looking forward to reading your comments and seeing your beautiful fall decorations.
