Your Prayers Mean the World to Us !!

We're finally home and things are much better for the time being. A week ago, we made an emergency run to the hospital. I'm not sure if many of you know, last August my husband was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. This past week his blood work wasn't the best. His coumadin level was off the charts, his potassium level had bottomed out.. he was in trouble. He started having trouble breathing and we made a mad dash to the hospital. After 5 days in the hospital and them taking 10 pounds of fluid off he's finally feeling better. It's been quite a roller coaster ride of emotions. I can't thank you enough for all your prayers and emails. They mean the world to us. I promise to get around to each and everyone of you to thank you personally, please be patient with me, there are quite a few of them. :-) Give me a couple of days and I'll be back to full blogging mode. With much love and appreciation hugs ~lynne~

Hello Dearheart...

Ohhh my...I was so relieved to see your post and learn that Bill is finally home from the hospital! I've been so worried about ya'll! But I've been praying, praying, praying, Sweetie! The Lord is good and has been so faithful to hear and answer our prayers!!!

I'm just so happy to hear that Bill is home...I pray that you both will get some rest, because we all know that that is nearly impossible to do while you're in the hospital! Just wanted to let you know that I was thinking of ya'll...and that you are still in my prayers!!!

Love ya, Sweetie,
Chari

You will both be in my prayers and on my heart even though I don't know you. I've dealt with CHF with my father and it is amazing what meds can do but it's still one of life's challenges. I hope you get his prescriptions regulated and he's feeling better soon. Believe me I know the stress that the caregiver is under, so you take care of yourself.

Lynne, I am so sorry. Your dh is in my prayers. Congestive heart failure runs in my family. I lost my dad 6 years ago at 68 years old. My grandfather was 56. One uncle was 50 and the other was 59. It scares me. The women live into their 90's - that gives me hope. It must be scarey for you. I am here if you ever need to talk.
Hugs, Terrie

Good grief! What a time you have been through. You take all the time you want. I do not see why you must get back to everyone with thanks. We all know full well that you have your hands full and I don't think anyone would ever expect a "thank you" for extending a sympathetic hand in love and well wishes. We KNOW you appreciate our words of concern. Take care of him...and take good care of YOU also! I am just so delighted to see your post!

I'm sorry to have not known about your just past troubles. But so happy to learn that they are _in_ the past. Best of luck to your husband.

Take your time with getting back into anything and everything. Your own bod needs lots of rest and TLC too, you know. Worry takes an awful toll on us.

Take... it... easy... For as long as necessary. Blog readers will be here, when you get back. And we'd really prefer that you be rested, when you do. :-)

Dear,Dear Lynne,

I am so very sorry to hear about the problems your husband is having, and believe it or not, we are going thru almost the same thing with my nephew's 44 year old wife, Kathy. She had a massive heart attack on Wednesday the 25th and bypass surgery also. She will need a heart transplant in time, and our prayers have been with her like crazy, asking everyone to do the same. So believe me when I tell you that I can understand. I will include your husband in my prayers and I will also say one for you, as I realize what you are going thru yourself, you must be exhausted.

May God Bless you both.
