~ Mercury and Pumpkins A Great Combo ~

Hey everyone, I hope you've had a spectacular weekend. Our's has been pretty quiet, nothing new there. Talk about fall temperatures around here, we actually had frost. It was a gorgeous site with fog rising from the lake in the shape of a fountain. You'll be able to see a few of those pictures on my Face book page. If you're not a follower I welcome you to slip over and like our page. You can also follow me on Pinterest.
This month is already slipping away from us. Where has the time gone to?
I've done quite a bit of fall decorating around the house this year, have taken tons of pictures, then the day gets away working in the shop, I forget to put them together and post. Do you ever do that? I wanted to share a small makeover of sorts in the living room. It all began with the silver tray a b/day gift from my BF.
With mercury candlesticks and pumpkins being all the rage the last few years it's always fun to find new ways to use them. I have tons of pumpkins, didn't realize how many until I started pulling them all out. I've officially said NO more to buying pumpkins, ( at least for a while). lol
Mini pumpkins to soften the hardscape of the silver and mercury also adds some whimsy. We can't let things get too serious can we? I mean come on this is the month for bobbing apples, eating popcorn balls and caramel apples.

to find what makes
you happy and useful
Embrace it and
make it work
for you.

The pumpkins look great with the mercury glass! Elegant and a little rustic always mix well. I have the opposite problem that you have, I feel a post coming due and I run around to get pictures beforehand!

No frost yet but it has been on the 40's. I love this weather!

Jane
