A few years back I put together the Pheasant tree in the Dining Room. Mr.P and my daughter thought I had lost my mind. They know I'm deathly afraid of birds. These beauties stole my heart and the tree took on a life of it's own.
Pheasant feathers became the topper.Pheasants fly around the top.
The quest began to find ornaments that fit the tree.
In years past I didn't include the ribbon, having this left over from another project I thought it would add to the tree.

Thank you for stopping in to see the Pheasant Tree. I have a couple of more to share with you over the next couple of weeks, I hope you'll come back to see those.
I want to thank all those that hosted this wonderful Christmas Block Party.

Oh, Lynne, your pheasant tree is a stunner! Thanks for linking this wonderful tree to the Christmas Tree Party at 2805.
That tree is amazing! What a great use of feathers. Would have never thought of it. Puts me in the holiday spirit.
Very pretty and I really like the ribbon in it!!
Lynn I just LOVE it. I, to, have a weakness for pheasants. I love the brown and cream checked ribbon too. Be still, my heart! May I ask where you got the pheasants? I would love to make a wreath with them.
A work of art, Lynne. Stunning!

Love your pheasant tree, and the ribbon is the perfect finishing touch. My mighty hunters would definitely appreciate this one. That you for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay

Your tree is so pretty, Lynne! I think you did great finding ornaments to go with the pheasant theme. I love the ribbon you used here; it works perfectly with the colors.

Wow Lynne, I absolutely love your tree. it is so festive and fancy. Brilliant!
Lynne, this is beautiful! I've always wanted to do a hunt themed tree...and your's is such an inspiration! Just stunning!
What a purdy birdie tree Lynn!!
I see we are sorta on the same wave length with our Christmas trees this year, I did a birdies and feathers tree too, but it has an entirely different look...
I love the colors and the natural elements. The ribbon is a nice touch. Beautiful tree.
Sharon
I think the pheasant tree makes for a great colour scheme, very effective.
Just a gorgeous tree! I do love the ribbon that you added this year. You also did a wonderful job finding ornaments that fit the theme so well. One year (when I had several trees in the house) I found feathered balls and did a whole tree around that theme but it was not as spectacular as yours. I saw your post over at the tree party at 2805 blog.
Lynne your tree is GAW-ORGEOUS!! One of the best I've ever seen! Maybe you should do vignettes based on what you're afraid of more often! *winks*
Girlfriend what style of chandy are you looking for? A wall mounted style? Or one that hangs? And what's your price range? I've found some beautys lately on craigslist.I'll keep my eyes open for you...You know how much I adore chandies! *winks* Vanna
Hi Sharon, thank you for stopping in to see the Pheasant tree, I so enjoy your sweet comments. hugs ~lynne~
Hi Bee_Squared, thank you for stopping by and leaving such a sweet comment. hugs ~lynne~
Lynne, what a unique idea! Very woodsy and since I love that sort of thing, it appeals to me. Another this is that I LOVE birds. I always have them (at least a canary) and three make their home in our family room. I wake up every morning to their chirping and bird song! Something must have happened to you to make you afraid of them.
I see them as the closest things to angels we have on earth. :)
The world would be so awful without them and their music.
Anyway..I love your tree and I don't think it's crazy at all! :)
Much love,
Mona
Hi Lynne...your pheasant tree is lovely and I am enjoying the change from the norm of trees. The colours are also lovely! good job them birds don't move....
Holiday hugs
