~ Pheasants in the Dining Room ~

A few years back I put together the Pheasant tree in the Dining Room. Mr.P and my daughter thought I had lost my mind. They know I'm deathly afraid of birds. These beauties stole my heart and the tree took on a life of it's own.
 Pheasant feathers became the topper.
 Pheasants fly around the top.

The quest began to find ornaments that fit the tree.
In years past I didn't include the ribbon, having this left over from another project I thought it would add to the tree.

Thank you for stopping in to see the Pheasant Tree. I have a couple of more to share with you over the next couple of weeks, I hope you'll come back to see those.
I want to thank all those that hosted this wonderful Christmas Block Party.

Lynn I just LOVE it. I, to, have a weakness for pheasants. I love the brown and cream checked ribbon too. Be still, my heart! May I ask where you got the pheasants? I would love to make a wreath with them.

What a purdy birdie tree Lynn!!
I see we are sorta on the same wave length with our Christmas trees this year, I did a birdies and feathers tree too, but it has an entirely different look...

Just a gorgeous tree! I do love the ribbon that you added this year. You also did a wonderful job finding ornaments that fit the theme so well. One year (when I had several trees in the house) I found feathered balls and did a whole tree around that theme but it was not as spectacular as yours. I saw your post over at the tree party at 2805 blog.

Lynne your tree is GAW-ORGEOUS!! One of the best I've ever seen! Maybe you should do vignettes based on what you're afraid of more often! *winks*

Girlfriend what style of chandy are you looking for? A wall mounted style? Or one that hangs? And what's your price range? I've found some beautys lately on craigslist.I'll keep my eyes open for you...You know how much I adore chandies! *winks* Vanna

Lynne, what a unique idea! Very woodsy and since I love that sort of thing, it appeals to me. Another this is that I LOVE birds. I always have them (at least a canary) and three make their home in our family room. I wake up every morning to their chirping and bird song! Something must have happened to you to make you afraid of them.

I see them as the closest things to angels we have on earth. :)
The world would be so awful without them and their music.

Anyway..I love your tree and I don't think it's crazy at all! :)
Much love,
Mona
