Wagon Wheel Beauty

As I reflect each morning trying to line out the days activities it becomes apparent to me there are just not enough hours in the day. Am I trying to get too much done in a short span of time? Yes, of course I am.
I'm trying to navigate like I was 23 and not the age I'm soon to be. At some point we have to tell ourselves to slow down and enjoy the small things in life, this morning was one of those mornings. As I was leaving the house to run an errand before opening the shop this show stopper at the side of the barn caught my eye.
After seeing the morning glory bloom I recall it was there many years ago, but I don't remember seeing it bloom for many years, probably due to fact I've been spraying around the barn to keep growth down and snakes away. I'm glad I missed spraying this particular spot this year.
It matters not that wagon wheel is in need of being scrapped and painted, the chippy paint's patina only adds character to the wagon wheel.

I'm very close to having the house back in shape after the carpet install. I mentioned I would share the choosing of the carpet and all of the hiccups that occurred and I will. Those posts are ready for me to tweak there just has not been time for me to set down and give it a 100%.
I hope all of you have a super fun filled weekend, stop and notice the small things in life it will give your heart a boost.
Fondly ~ Lynne~

There are not enough hours in a day to accomplish everything we'd like to with our aging brains and bodies. We will at some point have to come to terms with that. Today, however, will not be that day. We're still plugging away, trying our best to do all the things we were able to do at 25, 30, 35. We can't help ourselves.Meanwhile, pretty natural show!
