"Happy Anniversary Mr. P. "

37 Years ago we began our marriage on a day much like yesterday. The day was cloudy and full of snow. Roads became slick very quickly, it didn't detour our wedding.
 You made the
treacherous trip to a small town East of us to pick up our wedding cake. Those we had invited couldn't get out of driveways let alone to our destination wedding location.

At approximately 7:25 p.m. we said I DO. The papers were signed and more pictures were taken. Little did we know the date on the marriage certificate was wrong. Married on the 29th with a date of the 30th. It became a joke each year you had a days reprieve to say Happy Anniversary or us share a gift together. It was a sign that our marriage would be full of laughter.
First picture taken together as a married couple.

Miss Scooter enjoyed a walk by herself and then later we enjoyed one together. Remembering the day 37 years ago I said I DO. I'm so thankful to have this silly little pup, she's what keeps me going most days.

There were so many good times shared with family and friends.
It seemed as though the stars a lined yesterday with the arrival of the first snow of 2015.

I miss you so much Mr. P, I know you're singing with Angels and are whole and healthy. I would do it all over again. These past 2 years without you have been a challenge. Most days I meet things head on, others I fall flat on my face. The support from our Catie and the kids are the one thing I cling too. As we said each night before falling asleep,
"I love you a bushel and a peck and hug around the neck." With all my love, Lynne

Thanks for sharing your memories with us. The mix up on the wedding dates gave y'all an excuse to celebrate your anniversary 2 days instead of one. :)
No snow or ice here and hope we don't get any this Winter.
Enjoy your evening.
