A Field Of Wild Flowers

Mother Nature has one fickle kind of personalty. We've had more rain since March than anyone can remember. Temperatures have jumped from overly warm and humid to chilly with more rain.
Today the sun is shining,
bugs are floating here and there. This is the first day in a very long my hair is down instead of being in a pony tail. I wouldn't be surprised before the day ends I'll have it in a pony tail once again.
Instead of long flowing curls, I have a stringy frizzy mess. So up it goes back into a pony tail.
Like wild flowers swinging here and there, so does my pony tail.
Are you lucky to have hair that stays in a well kept style? If only I was that lucky. It doesn't look quite as bad as thistle popping up here and there, sure feels that way at times.

If only it was as pretty as this dainty wildflower.
Or as soft looking with everything in place kind of wildflower like this.
I have auburn colored hair, so I'm glad it doesn't turn yellow as this sweet wildflower.

Lynne, the images are lovely!
I smiled about your hair comment. I'm usually in a "pony tail". ;-)

What a cute post, Lynne! I thoroughly enjoy it. You are so lucky you have kept your hair long so you can pull it back in a pony tail. I often wished I had kept mine long instead of cutting it short. When it's long, there are so many things you can do with it, including pony tails! So cute!

Thank you Judy, it was fun to put together. The long hair is so much easier to handle, bad hair day calls for a pony tail day. lol

Lynne,
Exquisite photography, dear friend!!!
The photos of the Queen's Anne Lace has me swooning!!!
On the other side of the Prairie,
I so~o~o enjoyed seeing it grow wildly, untamed at the edge of the highways.
Here on my side of the Prairie, it doesn't survive!!!
I do believe we are fortunate to still have lush, green lawns as we near mid~July!!!
The weather forecast is calling for a major "heat~wave", dear one!!!
My hair is short. . .and I can take the "wind~blown" look as it matches my personality!!!
I only see your gorgeous red hair and think immediately of all my "red~heads",
my Dad, my Sister, my "Mr. Ed", my Sons. . .the list goes on!!!
Thanks for this field of wild flowers post!!!
Fondly,
Pat

These pictures are gorgeous, Lynne! I have always looked at your picture and loved your hair! Never thought about "bad hair days" for you. I keep mine short and spray the heck out of it. Thank you for these lovely pictures this morning. XO

The flowers are stunningly beautiful! What a fun post! I can hardly imagine your hair frizzy --- it looks so pretty in your pic on the blog, but I know that the weather does affect some peoples hair. Actually, when mine gets "mussed-up" I kinda like it. I'm not a prim & proper gal by a long shot. Mussed up works for me, is comfie and I've gotten many compliments on it while it looks like that, so I figure that going with the flow is best. ha

Lynne, the wildflowers are so lovely. Perhaps I'll be planting things similar - after the hydrangeas are gone. Now that I've started, I can't wait. But...it's just too hot and humid to work in the sun today. Not for me. Wednesday/Thursday should be a bit cooler...I hope. I'm following and have added you to my Blog List too!

Hugs,
Jan ♥
