Mirror Images

The last few weeks have seemed to run together, one day leads into another walking blindly by faith, hope and patience. In the quiet evenings I reflect on things, past and what the future is going to hold.
Do you see and reflect? Do you look
in the mirror and like the image that bounces back? Life is full of images, good, bad and ugly. It's all in what you make of it. Taking stock trying to motivate yourself is sometimes a challenge.
If your pleased with your image and what you reflect to the world there's no improvement in your life. If you're not pleased you need to strive more, reach higher and try to be a better person. Life puts a variety of people in our lives. Those that pick us up daily, and those that drag us down. I choose to be around those that motivate, pick me up and put a smile on my face.

I hope your reflection puts a smile on your face today, thanks so much for your visit and kind comments.

Dear Lynne...:) I reflect a lot of late. It's age I think, age and loss of loved ones does a lot to you. "And this too shall pass"...at times I am not so sure and at others...it's an obvious thing.
blessings and love to you...

I adore your mirror images, dear friend!!!
I remember looking at myself in the mirror after a major tragedy
in the life of "Mr. Ed" and I and saying," Oh, honey. . .we've aged a thousand years overnight."
Keep putting one foot in front of the other and focus on the limitless possibilities ahead.
My prayers continue daily for you!!!

Yes - Due to some things going on right now that I have no control over, I do think about the past and future a lot now days.
You made the best choice - Hold your head up high, be around people who motivate you, pick you up and put a smile on your face. You have been thru a lot - time to take care of Lynne.
Glad to see you post again. Enjoy your evening.

Well said, Lynne. Today was the 1-year anniversary of Daddy's passing, and I felt so glum. It just so happens I was standing in front of a mirror when Ramon walked behind me. I caught a glimpse of him and asked him to come back. I stood there looking at us in the mirror and realized how blessed I truly am. I may not like my greying hair or my expanding waistline, but I love my life.

You put this together so nice. Thank you.
