~ Some New Blue In The Kitchen ~

While cleaning the other day and changing out the dining room table vignette I mauled over in my mind where to put the silver candelabra. I certainly didn't want to put it away for the summer, I settled on bringing it into the kitchen. The baker's rack with the marble top is one of those places that never stays the same for along. I have the best time changing out the vignettes, sometimes almost daily.
Putting it on the top shelf I worked from there, pulling things from around the house playing with what might work for a quick, easy, fun and a bit lighter look.
The second shelf stayed the same drawing the silver's together.
The beautiful Flow Blue bowls came out of hiding.

Recently while shopping at Pier1 I ran across these darling balls with numbers and symbols. I love how they lie gracefully in the white platter, but can also see them in glass vases. What would you do if you had some of these darling balls?

After taking the pictures I noticed the top shelf was more off balance than I liked. In an attempt to put a bit more balance I shopped the house. I'm not sure why the candles look like they're leaning.
Voila' ! I ran across the chippy style lamp with the gorgeous tear dropped prisms and knew it was perfect for the top shelf.

I love the rich glow.
You know me I felt it needed just a "little" something else. I recently got these "gorgeous" vases into the shop, just had to add it into the mix.
I like the lamp now I'm not sure about the candelabra, hmmmm I just might be moving things around again. :-))

I love it. I have a candelabra also, and I love having it out, but you are right, it takes some thinking to make it work. I think you did a fabulous job and I love it on the hutch, and the lamp and vase are such a perfect compliment. Love, love, love it all. Thanks tons for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty

Love the blue and white with silver added. The balls are fun and could be placed in all kinds of places. You could place a rubber band around the base of that stray candle up there and that might straighten it.

Hi Lynne!

I know that you love to rearrange and I will see something new every time I visit.

That little lamp made the difference. I have also seen those numbered glass balls... I would stick them in a birds nest and pretend they were eggs.

I do this almost daily, too. Marty@Stroll
Thru Life calls it "fluffing". But it keeps things fresh and new and it also keeps the creative ideas flowing. After all, what is life without a daily fluff here and there? Judy

Your blue and white pieces looks so good with the silver. Great combination and so cool for the summer. I hate putting away my silver pieces, too.
