~ Everblooming Geranium ~

Happy June 1st everyone, what a gorgeous day we're having. After cloudy skies all day yesterday and some very cool temperatures, today promises to be one of those glorious Summer days.

There hasn't been any new landscaping done around here in quite a long time. Goodness only knows I need to pull several things out and start over. You know how it is time and money always have to be factored into the equation. A few years back when I started filling up the garden boxes in front of the shop one of those plants was the Everblooming Geranium. I knew I had to have something hardy and sun tolerant, at the time the Austree tree hadn't been planted and there wasn't any shade in this area.
This was a great choice for this area. When in doubt plant this hardy geranium! You'll enjoy the unique colored green leaves and long lasting beauty of the blooms.

These are gorgeous, Lynne!
I don't think they are available in my area. I will have to check into it though... sure would be nice to have something pink blooming non-stop in my garden too.

Hope you will come by and link this up to Favorite on the First. This month we are sharing our GARDENS!
Perfect post.

Lynne I had never heard of this particular geranium and will have to be on the hunt for it! I love Martha Washington geraniums - mine didn't winter over this last year so have to start again but finding some starts from friends! I wonder if this geranium of yours can be started by a cutting?

I never heard of those geraniums, Lynn. I wonder if they grow in Texas? Your little angel sitting there is so cute.

Lynne, these are beautiful. I don't think I've seen any in my area. I'm going to look for them though. Have a great weekend! laurie

That type of plant is new to me, but I am not a it's not surprising that I don't know about it! OK.....with that said...I love it and will be on the look out for one!!

My gardening is bad this year....since I hurt my hand, nothing has gotten done. I was in the middle of finally potting plants when it happened. Oh the big picture, it doesn't matter that much!

Yes, we have been lucky today with our glorious MO weather!! I'll take another day or two of the same!

Have a great weekend!

p.s. My daughter painted her front door Geranium green, like the leaves and it's gorgeous! Hopefully I can snap a photo of it Sunday when we are all there for the baby shower. :) Yes, I know, I'm wicked!
