Thursdays' in Blog land is known as Tablescape Thursday. Hosted by Susan from Betweennapsontheporch. Thank you Susan for hosting a day for us to play with our dishes. It's a treat for each of us to swing by your place each week to find all those participating.

Many of you know I have a "few" tea sets. OK, so I have a lot of them. My poor daughter, she has no idea what she'll truly be walking into one of these days. She sees just a small tip of the iceberg. And what she does see, she like Mr. P. , just shakes her head. Now, I ask you what is wrong with a gal loving dishes? Nothing in my opinion, I'm sure the rest of you dish lovers will agree. :-))
A while back I found these beautiful pieces at TJ Maxx. Trust me, it's been quite awhile. I haven't been shopping in eons! Heaven help me when I actually get an opportunity to go.. lol I love toile, anything with toile, so just "had" to have them. I decided to use them as the center piece for this tablescape. Setting them on the tray seemed the perfect choice. I love trays, and have a "few". I thought this one was perfect for this teaset.
Have you seen this magazine? It's new to me and I've fallen in love with it. It is beautiful from cover to cover. Treat yourself and pick one up, I think you'll like it as much as I do. :-))

Hi Lynne,
I love your tea set. It's so elegant. I have one that my great-grandmother left me. I keep it displayed in my dining room on the buffet.

Hi Lynne,
you make such a great point about magazines today.
It would be an awefull world if they all closed their doors!! I think everyone loves a good magazine. I save as many as I can when i buy them & i try to keep them flat in a basket.
I love this post because im a big tea drinker. & your tea cups are super cute!!
You've done it again! This is simple but so beautiful. Also, I love the Tuscan style so I'm going to have to go find this magazine!
I've bought that magazine before and enjoyed it. I'll have to check it out at the newsstand. Love your tablescape. I bought dessert plates like your tea set at Homegoods awhile ago. Take care and stay warm. It is really cold and snowy in Colorado - probably coming your way. Sally
Beautiful tea set--I'm a sucker for brown toile! Lovely photos too. -Delores
Lynne your tea set is really beautiful! I just love it's elegance and pretty toile design.
I hope you get to shopping again real soon.
Thank you very much for praying for my father. Things have changed over this past year for him and it hasn't been good. He was diagnosed with the early stages Alheimers in July. Along with prostrate cancer and a major back surgery he is still recovering from it's been really hard for him. He is still going strong and walking daily and working out with physical therapy.
My Mom is having a hard time and my sister helps her a lot with him. I feel helpless since they are all in Florida. I'll be going home soon for a very long visit after Christmas. Sigh...:( I know you understand all of this.
May peace and blessings be with you and your family dear friend.
Love ya girl, ~Melissa :)
So nice and cozy, I love the tea set...I have the sandwich plate to match, but nothing else.
Lynne...beautiful tea set...love the pattern. Your pics are gorgeous...feels like I'm right there having that spot of tea! :-)
That is a wonderful tea set! I also have several tea sets...I would like to have more, if only I can find a place to put them!
If you get a minute or two, I would love to know how you get these huge pictures...I think I saws a tutorial on Susan's blog some time ago, but can't seem to find it...would love to know your secret!
God bless,
Mary
