With the rains coming down and the thunder over head I thought I might share a bit of sunshine with you. I took these last week on a beautiful sunny day. This is the first time these have bloomed for me.

The first day of fall, where has the summer gone to? We've been in the upper 90's all week, hard to believe fall is here and yes tho...

Have a blessed weekend my friend.

Glad you had a chance to get out and enjoy your yard. Is it very hot now? Rather warm in Colorado - in the 90's; but, of course, cools down at night. Sally
Pretty flowers!

Here in south Texas we are desperate for rain......everything is wilted and dying.
Your yellow flowers are beautiful!!!
Keeping you and yours in my prayers.
Your day lilies are so pretty Lynne! They're so bright & cheerful. My day lilies are blooming like crazy right now & they always put a smile on my face! ☺ Diane

P.S. It was 104 here today & we've only had 1/4 inch of rain since April. Heat advisory and burn bans daily. Send us some rain, please. :)

Lynne, I had no idea it was storming in your neck of the woods.
We arrived at the lake at 8:30 this morning and heard there was a heavy rain here yesterday (Wednesday). Still pretty warm!
Beautiful photos!
What a pretty post to brighten my morning! I wish you could send some of that rain our way - we are under a heat advisory and almost every county is under a burn ban (but they are still going to allow fireworks to be sold - go figure!) Love the pictures of the lush green! Hugs, Kathy
Since I didn't make it here on Friday, these bright beauties brightened my Saturday morning. laurie
