This is the time of year we can go overboard with our decorating. More is more as the saying goes. Sometimes less is more, depends upon how the vignettes talk to us, what we have on hand to put together and the space we're working with.
My dining room tablehas become more of a staging area than anything else. We haven't eaten off the table in quite a while. With Mr. P needing more room to maneuver his walker, (due to the fact he likes to play on his way coming and going, make marks in the carpet as if he's a little boy playing with a race track) I've moved the table as far back as I can. The lighting is best in this room for taking day shots, so I'm not quite ready to get rid of the table totally.
The vignette on top of the table never stays the same for long. Not that I get bored, I just love changing it up with the mood. This week I used a black tray as the base and started adding fun and like things together.
I carried the plates in the shop until sold out, no longer being able to buy them wholesale, I can at least enjoy the set of 4 various designs. I chose the deer to go with the antlers.
I wanted to add another texture so pulled out the willow baskets, perfect for chargers or as you can see it just viewing pleasure. lol

What a pretty vignette, Lynne! the antlers are wonderful, along with all of the other accents!
That looks pretty. I also love those round baskets with the handles. Lovely.

So Pretty!! I need some of your creative energy! Think mine fizzled a while back.
Have a great week.
Sweet Lynne, less is never, never more! Not when it comes to decorating...at least not for me. I love to visit someone who has a home that is interesting. Where everywhere you look is something pretty, something interesting..something for the eye to feast on... Come on...you KNOW you agree with me!! :):)
Sending a HUGE October hug!
Mona
Lynne, this is so pretty. I'm sorry to learn that you no longer have those plates in the shop. I'd be emailing you to see if I could buy some. Love that twig pumpkin too. Do you have those in the shop now? I got a kick out of reading about Mr. P having fun making patterns in the carpet! Maybe it makes him feel like he's back on the tractor. What a good attitude the two of you have. laurie
Pretty stuff! :)

p.s. I think the reason I love your store so much is that there is so much to look at and ...well..now that I think about it..my home is beginning to look like a store. Perhaps I should rethink my "more" thingy!! lol
Your home is so beautiful, Lynne.
I found you on Tabletop Tuesday and came for a second visit. I never tired of what you do.
Hugs,
Mona
