Updated Christmas Decor in the Library

I thought I was finished with decorating in the library until I ran across these gorgeous throws.

My obsession
is real when it comes to throws, I've lost count of how many I have. When I ran across these at Walmart I knew I had to have them.

The colors are perfect for the library. A touch of gray and black flows nicely with the Christmas pillows. In my previous post I hadn't pulled the Christmas stockings out or decorated the blue dish. I knew the new throws would be a perfect match for the stockings. Don't you love running across something that matches a treasure you already have on hand?

I pulled out a few of my large Christmas ornaments for the blue and white dish. With the addition of some greenery the area feels more complete.

What do you think? Do you prefer the BEFORE or AFTER? I think most will agree I prefer the AFTER. It feels more complete and cozy. Thanks so much for spending a little time in the dining room with me.
