Choosing a Range For The Kitchen

It's been said I live in a bubble. They mean it kindly I suppose, living in a bubble isn't so bad. Not a lot effects you inside a bubble. On the other hand when it comes to updating things around your home you're lost, confused and shocked at the what the outside world has revolved into.

Over the
course of the reno I've had to take time to do some research for the new slide in range. Folks, I was shocked at the price of appliances. I haven't purchased new appliances in almost 20 years. I wasn't only shocked at the price I was shocked at the options these new ranges have on them. I think they can do almost anything you want except stir the food for you. After a lot of research, reading and asking others what they have I settled on the Frigidaire range from Sears. I researched, read on line and talked with 5 different companies before ordering the range from Sears. Sears was the cheapest by over $400.00. Naturally you can see why I chose to purchase it from Sears.

From all of my reading this was going to be the best choice for my needs. I don't do a lot of entertaining any longer and can't see that happening any time soon in the future.  From their site these are some of the features:

 The range was delivered unpacked and looked over. There were a few issues I had to take up with Sears, they were resolved over the phone. It hasn't been installed due to the delay of the counter top being installed. Installation is scheduled for this Monday. Doing my happy dance hands in the air jumping for joy! I am one excited gal. Now, the flooring on the other hand is still an on going issue. Fingers crossed I get a call back today, if not I'm moving on to someone else. I'm ready to wrap this part of my reno up and and tie a bow on top.
