~ Brown and White Toile Table ~

It's another dreary day here today, with the past few posts being all about the reno going on I thought I would give that subject a bit of a break  It is oh so close for phase one of the reno to be shared, not quite, there are still a couple of finishing touches I need to make before the reveal.

I decided
to dig into the archives and ran across one of my favorite posts from 3 years ago to the day it was originally shared. The sun cascading across the table brings back fond memories when things weren't quite as quite as they are today. The memories are my safety net, something no one ever can take away. The table is now gone, the memories linger if we're lucky the sun may decide to pop out to dance across the chairs that now take the place of the dining room table. I hope you enjoy looking back along with myself at the images of the different textures I captured on that day.

As the late afternoon sun drops from the sky shadows fall across the table, I tried to capture the moments of magic that dances around the table. Like actors on a stage each piece becomes more important than the last.
Lingering and persistent shadows hide in the background.

I hope the sun is dancing magic across the path you're on today.

Many thanks for following along! .....

This is a gorgeous table, Lynne!! I love brown and white transferware, but don't often see it. Your lace trimmed cloth is lovely, too. I love the play of light and shadows you've captured in your pictures -- great photography!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and have a wonderful weekend.

I would love to have some brown and white transferware. It's just beautiful. You always do such a wonderful job of putting things together. I always make the photo's as big as I can so as not to miss a single thing.
Lynne, to me, decorating is a form of therapy..it just makes me feel good. To have things exactly the same day after day, year after year would send me over the edge I think when things get difficult in life. Your beautiful shop shows your talent off too and I hope you show more of it.
Huge hug!

Those are beautiful pieces, Lynne! Your pictures make it look so inviting to sit there and have a cup of tea or coffee with you. I love the way the sun's rays make it look like such a serene and calm setting.

Beautiful post, Lynne. Sorry I'm late visiting. Love the pretty toile dishes and the shadow play. I like to do the same in my living room when the afternoon sun changes as the minutes tick by. ;-)
