Fall In The Kitchen

I've shared the kitchen many times. Each time I share it I'm amazed at the life it takes on with the seasonal changes.
Many changes
are due to come to this room in the up coming months, to say this girl is excited is an understatement.  I'm sure you see the flaws, no need for me to point them out. Do you see what changes are possibly coming? I'll share the upcoming changes the closer we get to the actual demo. :-)  Looking in from the end of the bar/counter you see the eat in area. It's no secret I'm a fan of blue and silver, it seems to have taken on a life of its own. They're restful decorating accessories for me, to add some excitement to the blue vessels I plopped in some bittersweet.
Small touches here and there add a tad more color and texture to the creamy white furniture.

Remember the jar from the front porch?  I've enjoyed moving it around from space to space. I'm already dreaming up Christmas decor to fill the jar.
The gorgeous green pumpkin was purchased many years ago, I believe at T.J. Maxx.

Each morning I'm greeted with this happy site. I have quite an on going love for beautiful t- towels. My daughter at some stage in her life will "never" have to purchase a kitchen t-towel ever.
My $5.00 antique chair gets a touch of fall with a beautiful throw and my "new" pillow. I'm having the best time finding pillows for my home. I haven't had an opportunity to use them in many years, I'm like a kid at Christmas bringing them out for the seasons. The shop will reflect my love of pillows during this years Holiday Open House.
Candy corn is a staple in my home this time of year.
As well as caramel bites.

Just a touch of fall in the kitchen. I'm anxious to see the changes I have in mind come to life. It's been a slow and easy process one I'm enjoying. I hope you continue the journey with me as I take my home from a "we" to a "me".

Thank you sweet Laurie, it would be a pleasure to have you sitting here enjoying "many" cups of coffee, hop in that car of yours and drive on up. fondly ~lynne~

I love this Lynne. I am guessing the popcorn ceiling is going to be changed. I have three bedrooms that still have it and we just don't seem to want to do the work. I just love the soft yellow hutch and how you've accented it. That big green glass pumpkin is a keeper! We had a home some time back that I insisted on a wood screen door to our garage. I told my husband I wanted to hear the bang of the door because it just seemed like a fond memory from being a child. Seeing your door brought back that memory!!

Everything looks so pretty! I love the pillow, the bittersweet and the jar from the front porch. I was just thinking that my daughter will never have to buy kitchen towels either. 😊

Have a great day!

Lynne, your kitchen is such a pretty spot. I'd want to spend hours in this space. Love all the blue and white, and it's perfect for adding touches of orange in the fall. I have a Pinterest Board devoted to Blue and White Autumn Inspiration. I'll add a few of these images. '-)
