Glass Cabinet Changes And Memories

I recently made another change around here. It's not a big change but a significant one. Sometimes small changes makes all the difference. I appreciate all of you that took the time to visit, I'm not sure why you can't leave a comment; if anyone has an answer can you please let me know how to fix this problem.
A glass cabinet once filled
with antique cars bought for Mr. P and a dozer made of legos is now filled with other collectibles.

Antique bowls bought a few years ago through Etsy take center stage.

A silver tray filled with blue and white ground the bottom shelf. The candle on a timer puts a warm soft glow in the evenings.

I love the way the cabinet took on a feminine look. The basket underneath houses the Missouri Conservationist magazine. Mr. P enjoyed reading it from cover to cover sometimes many times over. The cabinet holds so many memories.

I can't believe it's been a year and half, the days are long and the nights longer. The house is so quiet at times. I try to keep myself busy to out run all the "quiet". The yard is seeing some of that hard work as well as many areas on the inside. I'm showing the effects too, down a few more pounds, (not a good thing) but a lot more toned. I'm slowly trying to enjoy taking our home from a "we" to a "me". I'm still getting all the free advice in the world, now letting it roll off my back. I'm still quite the recluse and enjoy the front porch with my pup. She's my constant companion, more clingy than ever, thank goodness for Miss Scooter she always puts a smile on my face.
Making small changes can make all the difference in the world, in your decorating decor and your out look on life. Thanks for swinging by I appreciate the company and your comments. I hope the sun in shining on you today.

Hi Lynne! Oh, the cabinet looks so pretty with all of your beautiful things. I think of you often and when I do, I stop and say a little prayer for you. I can't imagine what all you've been through and I pray your heart is healing. You're an inspiration to us, Lynne. Take care of your tiny self.

Lynne,
Only God knows the "timetable" for the changes you choose to make in your life, dear friend!!!
I have seen peaceable changes within your home recently and I know that you are making the transition slowly.
Your blue and white against the glass shelving is tranquil and elegantly displayed!!!
Thank you for sharing!!!
Fondly,
Pat
