About Town

Mother Nature is on a roll this year providing us with an abundance of beautiful fall color. The other day I forced myself to get out of the house and take a drive. While driving around town I couldn't help but notice all the vibrant colors scattered up and down the streets.
 The colors were
beyond incredible. We've truly had one of the prettiest falls we've had in a very long time. Or is it that I'm out and about and able to enjoy all of this beauty?
I drive down this street all the time. It's not one of the most "elite" neighborhoods, certainly one of my favorites. If I was ever fortunate enough to own another home, the one to your right would have my name on it. ( Please don't misunderstand I love the home I'm in, I'm enjoying the process of redoing a few things. Everyone looks at other homes and visualise themselves there don't they?)When Bailey was little he would always ask, "Grandma why do you always go the long way to Walmart?" My reply, "I like driving by my dream home. " That would always go into a long conversation about moving and so on. I miss having my grandson around with all of his cute and quirky replies.

As I drove around the square I had to pause and take notice of this beauty.
The West end of the courthouse is gorgeous this time of the year. I totally forgot to take one of the East end. If the weather man is right in his forecast I'll get out and about this weekend and take a few more shots.
This gorgeous tree is seen right before I head down the lane for home.
I hope you enjoyed some of the beauty around our small town. The quiet home town feel is one you can't reproduce. I'm glad those that spotted me with the camera didn't take me for a stalker but one that was enjoying the beautiful Fall Foliage.

Fondly ~ Lynne ~

Beautiful Fall color - thanks for sharing.
Things are still pretty green around here, but we are to get rain and cooler temps starting Tuesday, so it will probably start changing.
Hope you are enjoying the weekend.

Lynne, your photos are gorgeous! I love driving around my favorite neighborhoods and taking in the sights. I never thought to take my camera! I think I will do that next time. There is one particular home that I drive by seasonally, as it has the most beautiful curb appeal. I get inspired each time I drive by. I would love to just knock on the door and see the inside!
