Hello Sweet Autumn

I find myself enjoying the changing of the Seasons.
We've been fortunate

this year to have a decent
Summer flowing into what promises to be
a gorgeous Fall.
The Autumn Sedum is sharing it's
full beauty of a magnificent shade
of Rosy pink. You'll notice
there's a visitor.
I wonder if he/she uses the
antennas to phone home.

A beautiful bouquet.

Sometimes you're lucky enough to
see another visitor, only "after"
the pictures are taken.
A shot of the table that sits
outside the shop door, getting
the patio "Fall" ready. Kind of
funny really, the inside will take
on a Vintage Christmas feel
beginning this week. How many
of you would like a virtual tour
of the shop?
Although our mornings are Fall like and
afternoons a tad on the close side, the
ferns still make quite the showing. I have
to say they are larger and prettier
than ever this year.
Mother's old teapot is full to over flowing
with Creeping Jenny. I've taken several old
pieces to use in the gardens over the years.

I hope you all have a terrific
Sunday Fall afternoon.
You'll find me in the
yard mowing, this mow
will make 21, last year
I finished mowing the middle
of October and mowed 22 times.
We'll see how many I mow
this year.
Fondly ~ Lynne ~

So glad that you are having a lovely fall. We went from a few weeks of winter into summer for 8 months. I am so tired of all this HOT weather and hopefully we will get FALL soon.
Have a great week and yes would like to see a Christmas tour.

I agree, this unusual Summer on the Prairie has been lovley.
Who would have ever thought we'd still have green lawns in August & September???
Oh, yes. . .I'd love a Victorian Christmas Shop Tour, dear one!!!

Me! Me! Hand waving in air. (smile) I would love to have a tour of your shop! I always enjoyed the pics you've showed here of your shop! And, I would love to visit in person sometime as well --- however distance is a problem! But one can dream, right?

Egads! Even one time out there on the mower would be too much for me! I salute you for going the distance!!!!

I would LOVE to have a virtual tour of the shop, especially since I can't seem to get my act together enough to get there in person just yet! I know you'll have it looking fabulous for the Christmas season. Hard to believe the holidays are just around the corner!

Your sedum looks beautiful!!! I just planted 2 this summer. I'm hoping they'll come back bigger and stronger next year. I'd love to be able to cut & dry the blooms for fall arrangements indoors.

I was just thinking yesterday how we hadn't seen a lot of grasshoppers/locusts around this year. I don't think we had the number of cicadas that we normally have, either. And we have been mercifully spared the annoying sound of crickets!!! Those things creep me out!!! :-)

Be careful out there on that mower, and have a great week!

Would love to see a tour of your shop ! Your sedum is so pretty. I never seem to have the camera handy when wildlife appears.
