And the Yucca's Bloom

Many years ago while traveling the craft circuit we would do shows in Wichita, Kansas. Mr. P and I loved going to Wichita to do shows, the added bonus was being able to visit Aunt Myrtie and Uncle Burton. Usually Aunt Myrtie and I would take a stroll around the neighborhood during the evening hours, visiting the whole time, I loved this dear lady so much. The love was there from the beginning, we shared birthdays as well as many other similarities.
 One evening in particular
we ran across an entrance to a driveway where the these beautiful blooms were sharing their beauty. I was immediately taken almost swooning at how pretty they were. I knew I would have to have some. After getting home I set out on a mission to find them. I knew exactly where they would go, I finally located 7 at the greenhouse in a small town not far from us.
 Camera play.

These beauties have been in the ground going on 15 years. Some years the blooms are full and luscious other years not so much. Although I love when they're as pretty as they are this year, it's the memory I enjoy each time they bloom. The fun times, the laughter, watching Prissy Jo their small pup playing in the yard. Those are the things that makes life go around and around.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your warm and welcoming comments. I'm trying my best to get my feet wet again in the blogging world. I've lost all track of the parties so someone might have to send me an updated version of where I might share our world with all of you.

Beautiful plant! Think my daughter said they have one in their yard, but she has not mentioned lately how it is doing.
Let me know what type of weekly events you are interest in, and I will send you a list of those I know about. I have not participated in a lot of them in some time, as I am working more on downsizing - not decorating.
Enjoy your weekend!

I love their pale delicate green tone. I live not far from an area called Yucca Valley. I am wondering if they grow wild their or something. Why else would the area have that name?
You are alright? A time of transition for you. I remember it well.
It's been one of those days for me. Digging around in an old truck ..and I should not do that. I thought I was well..but find that I am not. It will pass. Know that it always does.
Much love,
Mona

It's so good to see you back sharing your posts of the things you enjoy so much. It's always a pleasure for me to see all the lovely things in pictures. I'm looking forward to seeing more about your lovely gift shop as well. :)
I'm sure it will take time for you to get into the groove of the blogging world again. But that's O.K. Do it at your pace where you feel comfortable.
Wishing you the best!
