Super Moon Rises 2013

Were you one of the lucky ones able to view

the Super Moon? Our weather was letter perfect for viewing, not a cloud in the sky.

Psst, come closer I'll tell you a secret, I almost forgot about it. I'm so glad I was fortunate to get a few shots. The moon's size was phenomenal.

Via Wikipedia:
The most recent occurrence was on June 23, 2013, as the closest and largest full moon of the year and the Moon’s closest encounter with Earth for all of 2013. It will not be so close again until August 10, 2014.[3]
I only wish I had set the tripod up, I can only imagine the shots I could have gotten. None the less, not too shabby for a gal who couldn't seem to stop shaking while taking as many shots as I could get. I won't bore with you with all of them, you talk about over load, you would be in moon picture over load.
For now this gal from small town U.S.A. is quite content with her pictures of the Super Moon.
