Enchanting Cone Flowers And Holly Hocks

Each morning and evening I take a walk around the yard, with no particular destination in mind I carry the camera hoping to get a few random shots of blooms popping here and there. This time of year like no other the changes are seen daily, from a small patch of green one day to pops of vivid color appearing the next, almost like magic the blooms seem to appear over night.
As the reports came across the news telling us we were under a severe thunderstorm watch I went out to see if could spot any dark clouds moving across the skies, no such luck for this Missouri girl. I did however spot the vivid pink Cone Flowers blowing gently in the wind almost like they were saying hello. I'll let the rest of the pictures speak for themselves.

I hope you enjoyed their beauty as much as I did sharing them with all of you.

Lynne, I love your hollyhocks! I have problems growing them with our heat and humidity. Coneflowers just don't disappoint, do they? I've tried a few new varieties. Love them. too. Your posts are always so enjoyable to read. Happy 4th to you and your hubby, Pam
