~ Rain Drops Keep Falling On My Head ~

The last few days have brought torrential down pours, lots of thunder and lighting. I'm beginning to wonder if Mother Nature is ever going to shower us with her beautiful rays of sunshine.
Spending more
time inside than I would like to this time of year gives me time to reflect, ponder and get a bit anxious over all the outside work that has to be done this year. The birdbath and I have to come to an understanding, contrary to it's belief it is NOT the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The whole area with everything leaning and the loss of yet another tree looks like it's been on steroids. {sigh}
Since the sun has not cooperated with us, I wandered out yesterday afternoon, with rain drops falling on my head to take a few shots of the beautiful blooms of the Bradford Pear. The forecast was calling for high winds and more rains I was afraid I wouldn't get a shot of it's beauty, before they were gone for another season.

Once the weather breaks this is where you'll find me. I'll be the one raking and preparing the area for fresh mulch. Addressing the birdbath situation and enjoying the great outdoors.

Fondly ~ Lynne ~

Good Morning Lynn, your pear tree is beautiful. Lots of pretty blooms.
I'm so sorry that the weather in your area is so bad. Hopefully the weather will change soon. Hope it doesn't go right into a hot summer.
Have a great weekend.
Mary

Oh, the blossoms are BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for sharing - we're buried under more than a foot of snow this morning, so your photos were a welcome site :)

We would love some rain. It hit 85 degree's here and I am already dreading the long hot summer ahead of us. How are you Lynn? I've missed visiting you..
