~ The Sun's Magic ~

Hello my friends, it is a fabulous 71 degrees as I put this post together. It has been a delightful perfect Spring day in our part of the country, with a promise of warmer temperatures tomorrow. I've had the kitchen window open all afternoon, the sounds of motorcycles have filled the air along with the laughter of the neighbors children playing on their trampoline. I hope you're having such a day in your part of the woods. 

I'm really
taking a short break from finishing up the preparations for tomorrow's Spring Open House Event for the shop. This is my 15th Spring Open House, this fall I'll be open 16 years. Where has the time flown too? It dawned on me just a bit ago as I was preparing the annual Fudge Odie's as one of the treats. Needing a short reprieve from all the baking, telling myself I don't have to taste every smidgen that I make, I sat on the sofa to gather my thoughts. I noticed the sun dancing across the wall and my Ralph Lauren lamp. It was so magical to me.

I noticed Miss Bunny appeared to be dancing here and fro showing off her beauty. Miss Bunny was a gift from My Gloria who has the blog Happy to Be. My Gloria knows how much I love, love, love bunnies and she made this darling bunny tassel just for little 'ole me. Isn't she one talented lady?
The last time Gloria did a post was last year on my 34th wedding anniversary. I truly wish we could all entice her to come back to blogging. She has beautiful home full of the most gorgeous antiques. Not only are the antiques gorgeous Gloria knows her stuff. I was always amazed when she did a post of her beautiful things and could describe in great detail what they were and their use. Yes, you could say I miss My Gloria. 

I couldn't resist sharing a shot of the darling polka dot ribbon, and this darling face. Always puts a smile on my face and gleam in my heart to know a fellow blogger thought enough of me and my little quirks to make it and then send it all the way from California. {sigh}

This is a shot of what you'll see when you pull up to the shop tomorrow. I worked all afternoon getting the outside ready. I'm so proud of the way it turned out, even though it's a bit early for my gorgeous ferns to grace the area and have the scent of petunias in the air, this will suffice for now. huh?

I'll leave you with one last shot of the magical sun dancing across the wall while I get back to a few more pans of cookies, sure wish each and everyone of you could stop by, what a party it would be.
