~ An Early Spring Brunch ~

Hello my friends, how's everyone doing today? If you're in our area you're gearing up for the big snow storm they've forecast for our area. I keep reading reports for our area of anywhere from 4" to 8" to 8" to 12". I have the pantry full and tons of projects on the list of things to do, if I'm not out shoveling a path for us to get out the door.
With said forecast on the horizon I thought what better way to push it to the back of my mind than setting a Spring type table.
You all know how I love my bunnies, goodness knows I have a "few" around the house. How can you say no to a darling face like this when it's begging you to take it home?
A beautiful
mercury glass candlestick to shed some extra ambiance and height to the centerpiece.
I chose the concrete urn with the Maidenhair Fern for this garden style setting, it has become my number 1 work horse of go too's for centerpieces. It's graceful nature adds a bit more whimsy.
I see eyes in the back keeping an eye on the little ones sitting yonder and there across the table
Cloudy days call for color.

Still watching...

If the storm hits as forecast  I hope you all stay safe, take your time getting to your destination, nothing is risking your lives over.

UPDATE:
At 6:00 a.m. this morning the snow hadn't moved in shortly before 7:00 a.m. we had snow flakes in the air. As I type this it's now 10:16 a.m. this is how the table looks outside the shop window. I believe we have snow folks. Please stay home if you can, if you have to be out and about take your time and please be careful.

How cute...I wanted to do an Easter table, but thought it was too early...guess it isn't! Maybe next week.

Love the bunnies. :) Adorable tea(?) set. Thought about changing mine around in the courtyard this Spring, but maybe not. Love seeing them as I come and go.
Borderline weather here - rain predicted and if it starts earlier than expected, could be a skating rink in the morning. Glad I don't have to get out. Around here it is always a "wait and see". If it does freeze, it should melt soon as the temps are suppose to be in the 40's tomorrow.
Enjoy your evening.

How do you keep your Maidenhair fern looking so good? Please tell me it's not real (and if so, where did you get it because it is very realistic.)

Well, that lovely vignette should definitely take your mind off of winter! What adorable bunnies! Love that urn - I would probably want to use it for every post!!

Wow, that is a lot of snow so quickly. I am glad your pantry is full and hope you keep power. Do you have a generator if you do? Keep us posted. I will remember you.

Your darling bunnies are so sweet and precious. I love your tea set. It is delightful and brings cheer for you stuck inside. The snow is quite beautiful however.

Our weather has been crazy. The plants don't know how to act. I have things that normally die back during the winter that haven't. We will be carried off by the bugs this summer because we haven't had enough cold weather. The spring trees are flowering. We have been getting tons of rain when you get snow.

Hope the storm is less than expected.

Wow, that looks like a LOT of snow to this Southerner! It must have been coming down hard and fast to accumulate that quickly. What a charming tea set! Your vignette is lovely!

Beautiful post - I just love bunnies. I am going to the garage today and get my Easter Decorations out and start decorating.

Your bunnies are to die for - I just love them.
Stay in and be warm and hopefully the snow will melt quickly.

Love your bunnies. Mine are still in hiding. After having snow here yesterday (Scottsdale, AZ), even the bunnies outside have gone into hiding! You've inspired me to get the china ones out!

Wasn't it crazy how fast and furiously it moved in? I peeked out the window around 6:30 and there was nothing happening. I went back to bed. By the time I got up at 8:30, there was at least 6" on the ground with more coming down!!! We ended up with about 8"-9" here in Lee's Summit. Ramon's little tractor was no match for the weight of this snow! He finally had to just get the shovel. I hope you guys are faring well in this. We are just snowed in...period. Until the city comes to plow the cul-de-sac, we won't be going anywhere! Our cars sit too low! We'd be stuck in a heartbeat!!! I love your bunnies! I think I love most the fact that they are amid so much color! That really perks ya up! Stay safe!!

Oh, I just love your bunny tablescape. Your home looks gorgeous. We are supposed to get the snow sometime tomorrow. But we are so used to tons of snow, and they do a nice job of plowing here in Massachusetts.

Stay safe.

Thank goodness Texas does not get weather like that. I loved your bunnies. Especially the one watching over it all.

We are having so much snow in Colorado! My hubby was out shoveling the driveway and walks three times already! Goodness, we need the moisture but it is a wild day!
Love the bunnies! They are so sweet and I love Easter time so I am anxious to get mine out! If we can move the snow from the garage to get in! LOL!
I hope you stay warm and cozy and enjoy the beauty you surrounded yourself with today!
