~ The Entertainment Center ~

How's everyone doing today? Did you enjoy your weekend? It was cold in our part of the country, too cold for me to go outside, so I stayed inside and played.
When we built the house 16 years ago Mr. P. was adamant the T.V. go on a certain wall,
his chair in another corner. He wanted to be able to put his feet up watch the news, a few shows and relax.
Being the person I am it wasn't hard to accommodate him. Now, don't get me wrong, I've moved the T.V. around this room a dozen times or better. That was in the day when we had the old fashion big screen on wheels, you know the one where the back was larger than the front, if you got too close the picture was distorted it looked like a beached whale. As time progressed we updated the T.V. as well as the entertainment center, and updated again. The entertainment center he was suppose to pick up is not the one he brought home. He just knew I would like this one better than the black one with 2 beautiful pieces attached to either side, loads of areas to decorate. {sigh} Anyhoo..... you can tell by the shape of the wall it is perfect to house the T.V.

I purchased the ginger jars or as some are calling them today temple jars quite a while back. My original thought was for them to go around the garden tub in the master bath. Trust me, I tried them there, they were fine, but the family room was calling their names a whole lot louder. They sat on the floor in front of the entertainment center for a while. After Christmas I was needing a change and thought I would try them on top of the entertainment center.

I'm sure you're wondering why I haven't  hung anything on the wall behind the entertainment center. Well... I had a piece hanging there, again felt it was time for a change, it came off. Until I find just the perfect picture it will remain blank. I've since removed the floor lamp, to give some breathing room in between the entertainment center and the table.
I couldn't resist sharing a few shots of the sun casting shadows on the wall.

I love how this shadow seems to give the cocker spaniel print a frame with in a frame.
