~ Pine Cone Mania ~

Our postage size entry doesn't allow for a whole lot of decor. Sometimes less is more, the direction I'm going this year. Dear friends in Albuquerque mailed me 2 full boxes of beautiful pine cones, what better way to honor and thank them to use them in our holiday decor this year.

What a nice friend...very pretty. What type of evergreen is that? It looks wonderful around your mirror!

Lynne, I'm so jealous of all of your pine cones. I had planned to bring a bag back from Alabama and totally forgot. I wish I had a few more. Yours are great!

A woman recently told me that pinecones are too "cliche" to use at Christmas. I looked at her like she had two heads. Really? Then I guess stars and reindeer and glass ornaments and anything Santa are out too, according to her theory. Silly woman. I am happy to say my pinecone decor is very cliche. :) xxoo

Lynne, it might be postage-sized, but your entry is beautiful; and that MIRROR!! Lovely!
I read your post from the other day, and just wanted you to know that I've been thinking about you, as I hadn't seen a post from you in a while.
Take good care, and have a peaceful holiday!
