~ Fall Dining ~

Hi everyone, another beautiful day here in Missouri. Crisp mornings, light breezes in the afternoon with abundant sunshine. It doesn't get any better than that. I love the fall season, changing colors on the trees, loads of mums in baskets, wheelbarrows and beautiful urns, and tons and tons of pumpkins. Wearing sweatshirts while walking the dogs and watching the squirrels scamper here and there gathering their feasts for winter.
With the last of the

water damage to be finished up this week I feel like I can finally breath again. It has been a nightmare of an ordeal, I'll be glad when it's finally behind me and I can forget about it. If you missed that post you can view that mess HERE. I still have a bit of tweaking to do in the powder room before I reveal it's new found beauty to you, for the most part I'm so pleased with the way the shop has turned around. I would love for all of you to be able to stop by.
Since I've had a bit more time on my hands I've been able to enjoy the upstairs of our home. I love playing with dishes, and putting together vignettes. A while back I got some new product into the shop and naturally had to claim a couple of them for myself. I don't do that often, goodness only knows the house would explode from over load if I did.
The bronze mercury candlesticks have been around for eons, I believe they came from Hobby Lobby, can't remember for sure.
The brown willow style charger grounds the bright fall colored plates. From square to round interest flows from top to bottom.
Don't you love the square shaped plate? Oh my gosh I was so excited when I got them into the shop. They didn't last a day, now out of stock I can't replace them for the rest of the season. The sunflower plates were purchased I believe from Walmart, they're great Pottery Barn knock-offs! At a third of the price, don't you love a bargain? I know I sure do.

A simple dinner for two, on the menu: Cheesy Potato Soup, Homemade Crescent Rolls, Peach Pie
 Ala mode for dessert.
I encourage everyone
to find what makes
you happy and useful
Embrace it and
make it work
for you.
Until next time....
                                                          Hugs ~ Lynne ~

You are always such a busy lady! Always working on something new! I love these dishes! To be honest, I shop at Target and not so much Walmart so I'm not too familiar with their dishes, but I like these! And the candlesticks! Very pretty!

Jane

Really gorgeous Lynne! You have captured fall perfectly with this beautiful tablescape.
I think if I had a shop nothing would ever get sold...it would all be in my house!

Pretty pattern mixing, Lynne! Yes, I DO love getting something for a fraction of the cost!!! I'm with Glenda, though...I'm trying to avoid all the stores with all the great Fall stuff!!! My Mom got me out yesterday, and I just had to drum up sheer willpower. NOT easy!!! LOVE those candlesticks! I have a couple of great vases that they would complement to a T. Gimme! :-)
