~ The Added Feel of Country ~

Happy Saturday everyone, we're having another beautiful Fall morning our way. A perfect morning for sitting on the patio enjoying a hot cup of coffee and watching the birds frolic back and forth. I hope you've been able to get out and enjoy the beauty.
Last week while I was gathering things to add to the fall decor I randomly placed them on the kitchen table. I soon discovered

I've missed the feel of some country. Even though I love the bling of silver and all it evokes my country items were tugging at my heart.
The colored acorns landed in a fall shaped plate, can you imagine all the hard work the squirrels put into gathering these and storing them for the winter? I sure can't.

Wooden apples I've had for years laying gracefully in the dough bowl brings fond memories of climbing the apple tree at Grandma and Grandpa's. Grandpa teasing you with his cane pointing out the best apples to pick for Grandma to make her famous apple pie. "-))

It wouldn't be a country setting without at least one rooster.
Mother's or Grandma's wooden nut cracker soon to be filled with walnuts to pick out to put in fresh brownies and cookies. I can almost smell the fragrance of fresh baked cookies now.
Aaahhhh the scent of a Mulled Cider candle, my favorite scent this time of year.

So there you have the gathering of some fall items soon to grace another area. I hope you come back to see where they end up next. Here's a hint: it will be underneath this beauty.
That's all from this part of the country, I hope each of you have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs ~Lynne ~

Very pretty country decor! I love the white rooster. Your acorns and apples and the wooden baskets really all speak fall to me. You are so right about country decor being very heartwarming and bringing back memories of simpler times. I love it!
