~ Cool Refreshing Colors of Blue and Yellow ~

Labor Day weekend is right
around the corner, usually a sign cooler temperatures
are heading our way. Before that weekend
comes and we all start playing with our
Fall dishes I thought I would share some left
over signs of summer. Our temps
today are suppose to reach 97,
so why not share some
blue and white to help keep
you cool.

A simple table, a light
and airy table, full
of blues and yellows.

The table began with the white tablecloth
and expanded. I pulled from four
different sets of dishes to pull
this light and
airy table together.
Many of you probably recognize
the J.C. Penney's Chargers,
layered with our everyday blue and
white, topped off with some yellow
toile and a cobalt bowl.
The scene on the dessert
plates make me smile.

Thanks for swinging by
I hope all of you have
a great day.
hugs ~lynne ~

Oh, my gosh....this is beautiful! I love the soft yellow and white with the bolder cobalt. You did a really great job of mixing the patterns, too! I love bold mixing! I tend to play it safe a lot of the time, but I'm so proud of myself when I let go of my inhibitions!!! The floral container is SO pretty! I love the rings hanging on it!

Hi Lynne! Oh, your table is gorgeous. Love the colors you've used and your dishes are beautiful. I have those same glasses in cranberry and use them at Christmas time. Oh, you do good.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)

Oh My, If there is anything better than blue and white it's yellow and blue. You've created a beautiful tablescape using such lovely patterns and colors.
I love the layers of shapes. I think the cobalt blue bowls are the icing on the cake so to speak. I'm in love with the toile patten on the yellow plates, gorgeous. Have a Happy Day……….

Lynne,
I adore the soft buttery yellows of this tablescape. Winning combination with the blue and white! The yellow toile teapot, creamer and sugar just stole my heart! Lovely tablescape! Visiting from Tablescape Thursday!

Lynn this is stunning! I love every piece you used in this. I have one dish in that colbalt blue that you have the bowl in and I use it for a cake dish. I love the blue and yellow and toile, especially on the white tablecloth. You pulled together so many beautiful pieces perfectly. It is very fresh and suits me just fine! I have already been decorating "work" with fall and am not quite ready to go there at home. LOL! So I really appreciate this. Hope all is well with you and the store is still progressing smoothly.

What a lovely table! You are right, the blue and yellow are very cooling. Your teapot is adorable.

I hope it cools off for you soon. We were in the 90's for most of the summer and that is about 10 degrees more than we are used to. It is only 87 today and we feel like we are having a cold spell!
