~ An Apple A Day ~

A while back the sewing machine and I became best friends again, it had been a very long time. I've made tons of new runners for around the house, new napkins for tablescapes for myself as well as for the shop. The green plaid runner is 96" long, I wanted a nice drop on either side of the long coffee table.

Pulling out decorating books I chose those that represent porches, designs inside and out, these are a few of my favorites.

The last couple of days have felt like Fall around here, trying not to rush the season too much I put some beautiful apples in the bowl, soon it will be full of gourds and pumpkins.
I love wooden boxes, I could have a dozen of them if I had the space to display them properly. I've had this beauty for several years purchased at the Kansas City Flea Market, inside a candle and cast iron birdbath.

I can't show you the wall behind the sofa just yet, it's not quite finished. I'm on a mission for just the right thing, once it comes along I'll be able to finish the wall and share with all of you.

I'm off to do some more cleaning and moving around of things, I hope you're having a super weekend.
hugs ~lynne~

Hi Lynne! Oh, your runner is lovely and I really like that pretty bowl filled with apples. Glad you're getting lots done. You must be taking some powerful vitamins! :)

Lynne, You are inspiring me. Well, maybe to tweet some things around the house. I don't think I will be getting out the sewing machine but what you have done is very attractive.

Can't believe you have a fall feel! Neat. Actually, it was a lot less hot today but not a fall feel down south.
