~ You Just Never Know ~

Do you ever start a post and suddenly you're taken in entirely different direction? It happens to me all the time. As I was outside watering the flowers on the patio I noticed something on the leaf of the geranium, thinking it was probably a dead leaf that needed to be pulled, I reached down and just as quickly pulled my hands back. It wasn't a dead leaf, I had a visitor.
You just never know who's going to leap pop in around here. :-)

He has quite the umbrella doesn't he?
Almost prehistoric looking.
Have to admit I almost squealed like a sissy girl, instead good blogger that I am I rushed in to get my camera to take pictures of my little visitor. As much as I love the outdoors I don't care for bugs, I'd rather look at something pretty like pillows resting on a bench. How about you?

hugs ~ Lynne ~

Oh, he's a cutie hiding there in the leaves! Your photos are super, he should get an agent!
Pretty pillows, too.
Have a great weekend,

He probably was enjoying the water.
I am not a fan of bugs and creatures either - I just try to keep a safe distance. Pretty flowers and pillow.

Hi Lynne,

He's awfully sweet looking and sooo much better than finding a slug. :) But yes, I'd much rather see a pretty pillow.

Have a great day!

Hi Lynne!

He is so cute hiding there. He will eat LOTS of flies and mosquitoes. Gotta love your toads!!!

Did you happen to see my post earlier in the week where I was holding all my little garden friends? The itty bitty baby toad was my favorite :)

Cute post Lynne!
I had one of those visitors a few weeks ago on the back porch. I actually put my hand down on the bench and felt him before I saw him!!

Well, he's a cute little froggie! Summer before last, I walked out to the side garden to pick some blackberries, and there was a giant turtle in the flower bed! No idea where it came from. Ran in to get the camera, and doggoned if he hadn't disappeared.

He is so cute but I sure hope he isn't planning on having lunch there! I wonder what kind of frog that is? I've never seen one around here. Any garden visitors are fine with me as long as they have legs! :) Linda

Critters don't really bother me. Just today I counted 7 little frogs in our lower pond. Ther are more in the upper pond. I will try to get some pics tomorrow. XO, Pinky

In Florida we have frogs and little lizards. Give me the lizards everytime! They are afraid of you and always scurry when you come by. The frogs just "stick" their ground, leave their droppings all over my front porch and their footprints on my windows! I would never harm them but I am not a fan! However, I am a fan of those pillows!

What a fun surprise! Hubby went to water the 25 lavender plants out at our land and the bull snake he brought home to me last year to ward off rattlesnakes was cooling himself in one of the lavender wells! Was glad to hear he was still around but am glad hubby found him!

You took great advantage of the perfect photo op. I am always so happy to find frogs. Just think of all the bugs he will eat. They do eat bugs don't they? Adorable pillow by the way!

Little surprised like that are so neat...as long as the "little surprises" don't jump on me. A Tree Frog was hiding in a plant and jumped on me...you should have heard ME squealing like a sissy girl. LOL
I like looking at the gorgeous pillow...much prettier than the frog.

LOL! How cute! I love to find little visitors! We find them far less often here in PA than in FL! There was always something interesting "lurking" out the door!
He is cute!
The pillow is beautiful too!

Thanks for stopping by my Camera Critters.

Oh, I love posts like this. Yes, I have been there before too, you start out in one direction and suddenly you are blogging about something else all together. Great photos! You caught that little fella beautifully!

Cute little frog. We don't have many around here so seeing one is a treat. The pillow is gorgeous!
