Join Chelsea and myself for a cool refreshing drink.
To quench your thirst a cool refreshing drink served up in a margarita glass, topped off with a fresh strawberry.
The Boston fern takes center stage as our centerpiece with Miss Chelsea hiding behind the shaded nook of the leaves. Ferns play a major role in mythology, as well as being used for medicine and art. They're artful beauty is a healing source for my soul each time I look at them.
Sometimes it's fun to bring out the silver and mix it with crystal for an impromptu setting, no tablecloth just the diamond shaped center of the table to make it all pop.
Dip a strawberry in the sugar for a burst of sweet juicy flavor, only fingers need here.
The bracelet style beaded napkin ring holder gracefully holds the red and white napkins.
Please help yourself.
Sit back and enjoy.

Hi Girlfriend...
Well dear friend, I would love to join you for refreshments! Everything looks sooo beautiful and really yummy too! Love, love, LOVE your girl...she's a real beauty for sure and looks sooo sweet nestled in with that pretty fern! Lynne, I do believe that you grow the prettiest ferns in all of blogland! Thanks for sharing this lovely "refreshing" setting with us today!
Love ya,
Chari
Lynne, what a lovely setting! This is the perfect spot for a break! Love your fern and that pretty girl!
A very pretty setting - who wouldn't enjoy taking a break there.
I like your style, lady! I could drink just about anything out of a fancy glass! When I have to drink that stuff for a colonoscopy, I put it smack dab in a beautiful glass to make it go down a little bit easier. If I'm gonna have to poop like a bird, I can at least drink like a lady! :-) :-) :-) Those are some of the prettiest strawberries I've seen this season, too! The perfect summer getaway....right out on the porch!

This looks soooo refreshing!!!! I wish I could just lift one of those glasses.
I'm not sure what happened with my post. I use Live Writer and it has been very funky tonight. Somehow the linking from this past Seasonal Sundays appeared in the middle of the post. I went into the HTML codes to try to figure it out and it kept crashing. I think I've got it now!
Again, LOVE this post.

This looks wonderful. Only wish I could be there to set a spell. RC
I do so love garden statues..I have one but I don't think I should have put her in the garden..now she is all pitted..and I cannot thing what to do for her.
I painted her concrete gray and she turned out even worse! :)
I can't let her go..but I think she was supposed to be an inside or sheltered garden statue.
That lovely drink look delicious.
I think I need a drink. :)
your photos make me want to taste that wonderful strawberry!!! Such a pretty setting for a wonderful afternoon break. Have a great weekend. xo marlis
What a beautifully, refreshing table. I think I could sit and dip strawberries in sugar all day in this setting. laurie
Wow, is that ever enticing! Love the romantic vibe, and I now understand why I love ferns so much. Strawberries dipped in sugar--it just doesn't get any better than that! Just beautiful!
Hi Lynne, Those strawberries look so good, especially dipped in sugar. I love your pretty girl sitting in the ferns. I had no idea that ferns were common in mythology and I would love to learn more about that. And I like your idea of serving the cool drink in the margarita glass to make it even more special. Linda
