~Garden Delight ~

One of the advantages of having an early Spring is enjoying all the fresh buds waking up from a long winter's nap. Watching the new birth of each plant this year has been so much fun. I can't recall taking the time to truly enjoy the fresh beauty.

I'm sure you're saying enough of the bud pictures, look closely you'll see the ant making it's way around the bud.

I wonder, do they get dizzy going round and round?
The Weigela bush has sprung up like crazy. As the bush fills in the nasty wood stock will be covered leaving lush greenery and beautiful pink blooms to admire.

I had to share another shot of the Azalea in full bloom. Just look over all the yuck in the background, I took these pictures before I cleaned all of that up last weekend, obviously I should have waited to take pictures huh? Such is the life of a blogger.
Back on the other side I noticed the sweet Weigela blooms resting on top the Hostas.

Sweet and dainty.
The Crape Myrtle bushes are so full and tall this year, I'm hoping they'll produce some beautiful blooms.
Thanks for swinging in to say hello. Your sweet comments always touch our hearts.
Until next time...

Beautiful beautiful beautiful Lynne. I love peonies. We have two, under the hearth room window...not bloomed yet in their new garden life. Maybe they will this year. We had several next to the driveway at the farm. Of course, transplanted from Jim's mother's house. I love them. I would bring them in the house, because they were so pretty and smelled so good and enjoyed them, ants and all.LOL

Have you had stormy weather? We sure have...the weather radio has beeped all day. Sun is out right now, but clouds are coming back. We had hail and big lightning last night. Rained until about an hour ago at our house. I hear they are playing ball at Busch. Must be better weather 50 miles south.:-)

Hi sweet Lynne. First, thank you so much for doing me the honor of becoming follower. How sweet of you!
I wish those lovely flowers were blooming in my yard. I have some but they are just now beginning to be pretty..and the grass..is greening..so to speak, after tons of fertilizer.
What a great time of year this is, isn't it? How long do your blooms last? Will they be there throughout the summer. Ours BURN! :(
Hugs!

Hi Lynne! Oh, I love peonies and wish I had some. You have some gorgeous plants and I know you have lots of land with such gorgeous plants on it.
I hope you're not having to work too hard with the taxes.

Hi Lynne!

Looks like you will have lots of lovely blooms this Spring. I will sure miss my Peonies and Crape Myrtles this year. Maybe I will post some pretty pictures of my old yard back in Texas.

I see your black stand is missing it's globe. Mine always blew over and broke... maybe I will decoupage and old bowling ball. Let the wind try to blow THAT over!!!
