~ Arbor Love ~

Hi everyone,  We had a brisk 32 degrees this a.m. it was so crisp feeling, even the animals were feeling their oats. What a glorious day it's going to be.
Yesterday evening while taking a phone call from a client I looked out the window to see a few blooms on the clematis. I can't tell you how quickly I rushed out to take a few shots to share with all of you. I'm always amazed sometimes after taking a shot there's a bonus or two. OK, maybe it's just me and I don't see clearly through the lens. Sitting on top was a small bird, I'm sure just waiting for me to leave so he could go about his business diving for bugs and such.

The left side isn't quite as full as the right but pretty just the same.
I guess because of the cooler temperatures the blooms are lighter in color. Usually the blooms are a deep rich purple. You know I'll keep an eye on it and share as the blooms reach to head over the top of the arbor.

The edge of the arbor and gate hasn't detoured this beauty from poking it's head through.

Full of blooms just waiting to pop.

The arbor sits just right out the back door as well as the kitchen window in a small courtyard sitting. Coming, going or just sitting we're able to enjoy the beauty of the clematis each Spring as it begins it's mission of reaching the top of the arbor.
Thanks for stopping in to say hello. Your comments always touch our hearts.
Until next time...

HI Girlfriend...

Ohhh...your purple clematis is GORGEOUS! What a beautiful arbor too! It's definitely beginning to look like spring at your place! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Things are beginning to green up here at my place. The trees have just begun to bud out but no sign of spring flowers yet. It has been chilly here at our place too. I hope that my note is finding you and Bill doing well, dear friend!

Love ya,
Chari

Very pretty, Lynne, and I love that arbor, too! I have clematis at the lake and it is a late summer bloomer. I'd like to find one that blooms earlier for my other arbor. Love that little birdie perched up high!

XO,
Jane
