~ Santa's In the House ~

You might remember this Santa from a few years back, the bottom was broken out of it, I worked for quite sometime putting all the pieces back together.
I love his sweet face and gentle eyes.
You know I love the iced effect. :-))
What does one do with all their Christmas books?
Please grab a cookie and a cup of something hot.
Yes, you decorate with them of course. Putting the book on the easel gives it more presence. I added the silver tray adorned with greenery and a pop of red berries.

I love the reflection of the tree lights in the picture and the dome.

Cup and saucer by Johnson Brothers holds a few cookies for you to snack upon.

Until next time...

Beautiful vignette Lynne! I love the way that whole area looks. My oldest daughter just asked me last night if I ever heard about Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus and then I see your little book under the cloche.

Your Santa is beautiful! He DOES have very gentle eyes. I love how you have decorated with the books, too. I used to have quite a few Christmas books for my children but all were donated. They would make wonderful decorations here and there now.

Your cookies and tea look really good right about now!! Hope you are getting close to being ready for the big day!

Happy Holidays!

XO,
Jane

Hi Girlfriend...

"Santas in the house"...hmmm, that must mean that you have been a "good" girl...and not naughty! Hehe! So happy to hear it, Sweetie!

Girl, I love your big ol' Santa! I love that "sugared" effect too! He really does have a kind and gentle face...just as Santa should...I think! He certainly added the perfect element to that beautiful vignette on your pretty table! Thank you for sharing him with us, dear friend!

Love ya,
Chari

Ooooohhhh...that DOES look cool with the reflection in the dome! Don't you just love it when pictures turn out like that? Sorry about your Kris Kringle, but it looks like you got him put back together really nicely! He looks like a sage fellow with many stories of Christmases past to tell! :-)
