~ Santa's Baking in the Kitchen ~

A few years back this Santa was running rampet through out blog land. I first spotted him over at Phyllis' blog.
Phyllis always has some wonderful eye candy for us to admire. If you haven't stopped by, you must treat yourself to a visit. You won't be disappointed. You can go HERE for a visit to her beautiful blog.
Last year Santa had his own tree in a silver bucket, I haven't pulled that tree out just yet, I'm not sure I'm going to, if you would like to see last year's version you can go HERE.
Wouldn't you love to have this handsome Santa helping you bake your cookies and candies for the Holidays?
He comes with his own tools, doesn't say much, I'm sure he doesn't even leave a mess behind.
His Gingerbread house has lots of gumdrops he's scattered across the roof, if we look around I'm sure he's left plenty for us to nibble on while we watch him work his magic.

His apron has been made by a great designer using only the finest of rickrack for trim along the edges, to say nothing of the beautiful monogramming on the pocket filled with a yummy Gingerbread cookie.
We all know Santa has big feet we try to fill each year.
He even filled it with a small Christmas tree all decked out with pine cones and cherries.

If Gingerbread isn't what you're wanting help yourself to some M&M's.

Or a few Candy Kisses.
Christmas isn't Christmas without a few Candy Canes.
An antique Spooner holds a few Gold Silver Dollars, they'll be hidden around the house Christmas Eve, one lucky person will take home a Real Silver Dollar, the rest will have to settle on eating Chocolate. :-))

I hope you enjoyed seeing Santa work his magic in the kitchen..

That Phyllis! : ) I bought that same Santa after seeing it on her blog, too, Lynne! Of course, I almost bought more at Kohls when I saw they had a bunch more different ones. I love how you've arranged yours with candy. I have mine next to a little counter top tree that has baking related ornaments on it.

I have a smaller version, a gift from a fellow teacher years ago. I also have the Lenox version.
You kitchen looks lovely. I like the silver dollar hunt. I may do that with the gkids when they come out for their Cmas visit.
Have a good week!

I have a gingerbread Santa too. Not yours, which is way cuter than mine. I love the way you made a vignette with the candy and other goodies.

Seeing Santa's boot made me giggle. You see, one year my cousins were convinced Santa had come to their house because there were large footprints of ashes coming from the fireplace to the Christmas tree.

I was the little meanie who was never believed and I told them to get out their father's boots. I bet they'd be the same size and print.

They did not believe me, but to this day, I laugh my head off whenever someone talks about Santa's boots.

By the way, I am hosting a gingerbread party on my blog and would love to have you link this up. The info for joining is on my blog if you are interested.

Have a great Tuesday!
