~ Captivating Smile ~

Each Fall I purchase a Yellow Mum for the table right outside the back door. I think it's cheery and bright against the gray siding, other colors don't seem to show up as well when you're pulling in. This year I opted to set it inside the big blue pot.
I've had this little guy for many years. Each year I pull him he always puts a smile on my face. Dressed in patched bibs and turtleneck sweater he's ready for the cooler temperatures headed our way.
Ya gotta love that adorable smile with the button shaped circles stitched on each side. With rake in hand he's ready for those leaves when they start to fall.

I hope you're having a fabulous Fall weekend. Ours is letter perfect, cool in the mornings, great for sitting on the front porch watching the fog lie over the lake, warmer in the afternoons, and cool again in the evenings, just doesn't get any better than this.  Until next time.......

Isn't it funny the simple things that we hold dear as traditional. Love your fall goodies. Richard from My Old Historic House.

I loove your little guy, Lynne! He puts a smile on my face too. We have had ALOT of rain the past few days and MUGGY but today the sun is TRYING to peek out! I am going to a bridal shower this afternoon. Should be fun! My daughter is one of the bridesmaids and the bride was in my daughters wedding last year! XO, Pinky

Such a cute scarecrow! I have a scarecrow collection, but don't have it displayed yet. We've had company, I hope to get the fall tubs down soon and continue decorating!

Thanks for the info about Gloria.

Love this, adorable display! We are hoping for cooler weather this weekend. I did a little fall decor yesterday and changed the wreath on the front door....maybe that will encourage the weather to cooperate??

Hope all is well with you!
