Breakfast is the most important meal of the day or so the story goes. Over the years we've seen a lot of commercials advertising these little circles being the Breakfast of Champions. Whole grain goodness along with juicy red strawberries make a lovely combination. Bone colored flatware from Target perfect for dipping into those cute little circles. Red Crystal from Walmart is perfect for our glass of milk.A small pitcher like those I sale in the shop will be used to delicately pour the milk over our bowl of Cheerios. Swirled edge place mats from Walmart bought a few years back mimic the edge of the red and white dishes. Paula Dehn candle makes the dining experience a bit more enjoyable. Transporting the brain from breakfast to dinner, the fragrance of apple pie makes you yearn for a piece of apple pie. Leaning gracefully, waiting ever so patiently to be dipped in sugar. A beautiful mug ready for stemming hot coffee. A crystal dish holds the hint of danish delight.Who's says you can't drink milk out of a crystal glass? Certainly not me! :-))Plump and juicy.....Monogrammed napkins scrunched in layers..."P" for our last name. Not realizing a thread needed to be clipped until after pictures were taken and uploaded only adds to the character and use of the napkin. Crystal to drink out of, jewels to wrap the napkins, one can only say we dine in style. Beautiful crystal base shimmers and shines, holds treats to feed the soul.Glazed raspberry filled donuts, doesn't get any better than this. Leaving you with a shot from above the Breakfast of Champions. I hope you enjoyed viewing the table, please help yourself to a donut or two. There are more ready to come out of the oven.

Looks good Lynne! The table is beautiful and the breakfast looks tasty!
What an elegant breakfast table. I think that is a great idea to treat ourselves one in awhile to a fancy breakfast table!
What stunning vignettes you set up for your post today.
I don't think I've ever seen Cheerios look so enticing!! And seriously girlfriend you warm your donuts?? I'm coming to your place for breakfast! *winks* Vanna
Well, you have ELEVATED the humble Cheerios to a Fantastic level!!!! I eat Cheerios EVERY morning but not in STLE like you!!!! I haven't had a donut in YEARS but would LOVE one of yours!!!! The whole table is gorgeous! Love it all, and you have inspired me to get a little "dressier" for MY breakfast!!!!! XO, Pinky
I 'm sorry to say that our breakfast table NEVER looks like yours......also, I never see pretty dishes at our yucky Wal Mart.
I can't believe you've made Cheerios look so good...plus the strawberries..
Beautiful and inviting table! You make everything look good".....
Hugs
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and you made it look so glorious. Love your red and white.. so pretty. xo marlis
What a gorgeous setting! Lovely colours and yummy food. Great shots too. Thanks for sharing.
Hope to see you on my blog:)
Really like the red and white together. A very pretty setting for a meal or just coffee. I can eat honey nut cheerios without the milk, but I am not a breakfast eater. I am very much aware it is an important meal, but food early in the morning does not work for me.
Lynne, I'd eat breakfast every morning if it looked this yummy! Love those beaded napkin rings, china and beautiful ruby stemware! Gorgeous!
XO
Those Cheerios will never come back down to earth for the rest of us to eat them. AND....homemade doughnuts...oh my! Beautiful tablescape. Thank you for sharing your lovely design. Cherry Kay
Such a warm and inviting breakfast. I wish I could just pull up a chair.

Love your red & white for breakfast!
Now, I wouldn't mind waking up to this table, Lynne. The strawberries are so red, they look so good amd they match your beautiful stemware. I love the texture of your dinnerware...Christine
We have cheerios almost every morning, but you have brought this breakfast to a whole new level...elegant and inviting!
A very healthy breakfast! Weight Watchers would approve! :)
Those placemats...where in the world did you find those???
Is there anything you have that I don't covet?? LOL I think not!!
I was being such a good girl today....until I saw those raspberry-filled donuts!!! Why, oh why??!?!?! I am ruined now! I HAVE to have a donut!!! We are currently visiting a small town in SE Missouri, and I don't think they have a Krispy Kreme or anything around here. I'm going to lose my mind!!!!!!! ;-) Beautiful table...and I, too, am a fan of drinking milk or any beverage out of beautiful glasses! Have a wonderful weekend!!!
Nice Nice.
Love breakfast but always have missed it in my working life but now that I'm a full time mom breakfast is our important meal and my fav since I missed a lot in my life.
