When planting our gardens it's
usually a luck of the draw
whether the flowers are
going to thrive. Trust me
cone flowers are one of the easiest
flowers to grow and maintain.
The only draw back I've found
is the invasion that comes.
The first day of fall, where has the summer gone to? We've been in the upper 90's all week, hard to believe fall is here and yes tho...

Those are pretty - thanks for sharing. I was just sitting here looking out and seeing 3 pots of flowers that need to be pitched. I have kept them watered, but the heat has just been to much for them.
Enjoy your weekend.
Love your coneflowers and I know they're supposed to be so easy to grow, but for some reason, they don't like my Georgia garden. I've tried two different times and garden areas and they just languish and die. Wish I knew why. Yours are gorgeous and I like them with the variegated liriope.

Cone Flowers are so pretty! There is just something about them blowing about in a breeze or when there is a butterfly sitting on one! Mine did not make it through the winter and I had to replant them and do hope they will make it through this next winter!
Happy Pink Saturday!

I love coneflowers. We have them, too and they have self-seeded in other parts of the garden. Happy PS!
Hi Lynne! Oh, I love these purple coneflowers! When I lived in New Mexico I grew these in my back yard! What beautiful snaps.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
