~ 4th Of July Celebration ~

With the 4th of July right around the corner, I wanted to take our
celebration outside on the front porch.

Coca Cola bottles are vintage, small glasses are from
 Walmart many years ago.

Star stamped coasters graced the table.
After taking the pictures I didn't care for them.
Do you ever do that? Get a tablescape
finished, take pictures and then change
your mind completely?

Cream pitcher filled with daisies and picks to mimic sparklers is used for the centerpiece.

Square plates take the place of the navy star stamped coasters.
The statement they make is remarkable.

Changing out the small green Coca Cola glasses for the clear with
Red lettering helps the table to flow more easily.

Hooray For the Red White and Blue !

What are your plans for the 4th?

Are you having a big celebration?
Will sparklers be lighting up your evening?

I'm sure cool refreshments will be on the menu.

Maybe even a slice or two of watermelon.

I hope you enjoy the rest of the wonderful
tablescapes hosted by Susan. I hope
all of you have a beautifully fun filled
and safe 4th of July Weekend.

Your Fourth of July table spoke to me. Make me want a nice cold coca cola! There has always been something special about drinking anything in the coca cola glasses. I love the shape and weight of the glass. It fits comfortably in my hand. Your tablescape is attractive and festive. Love your new header too.

Darn it, I want a coke so bad and now I see your blog. I live 10 miles from no where, not even a coke machine, and I am out. Loved your 4th display. Richard at My Old Historic House

Very patriotic and festive.
Don't know what it is, but cokes don't taste as good now days, as they did when were sold in the one serve glass bottles (vintage) - 5 cts. out of a machine (dating myself). :D

I love your patriotic daisy centerpiece--& your blue silverware-& your patriotic dishes-& the vintage cokes & glasses...guess I just love it all! We have absolutely no plans for the 4th weekend. Our "kids" will be out of town with their own families & truthfully, I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend. (Hope the neighbors don't have firecrackers!)
