~Snippets~

With a slight breeze in the air and bright blue skies there's a feeling of fall in the air instead of Spring. Our Missouri weather has certainly been fickle this year. Usually by now I have the front porch full of Boston Ferns and a few other blooming flowers, this year's late cool temps has slowed that process down. I spend a lot of time out here during the summer months and enjoy the breezes blowing the ferns back and forth. So, today I decided to start adding a few ferns, hoping Mother Nature will co-operate. The Snow Ball Bushes have started blooming as well as the creeping phlox and peonies.

It's looking lovely. I can hardly wait until we get enough warmth that we start seeing more signs of spring like you are. Hope all is well for you and your's.

Great snippets! You are having a wonderful year for flowers. I love ferns as well and have started getting more and more each summer. Then I have to keep them alive indoors all winter long and the big ones take up a lot of space...but they are so worth it!

Jane

Hello,

Love this place...I would be pressing some of those pink phlox flowers...it seems that you are going to have lots and lots of Peony blooms. I see ants on them, very good!

I love the fern and all your snippets =) It's hard to believe anything could survive all that snow you had. Everything looks super nice and your shrubs are beautifully manicured. I dream of a porch like yours one day. =)

Hugs to you, Lynne ~ J
