After the storms passed through here yesterday I enjoyed my evening on the front porch, with camera close by I noticed the deer had come for a visit. I first noticed four of them higher in the pasture. Even with my zoom I couldn't get any clear pictures, even some of these aren't the best. (I'm so wanting another camera with more zoom), I digress. With the population of the fox increasing our deer aren't coming for their regular visits.

These are pretty good pictures with your zoom. I love to see deer. We used to see them in Wisconsin when we lived by the river.
You have a beautiful view from your porch, Lynne! What a lovely place to spend time. I love the deer and their reflections in the water!
XO,
Jane
What a fabulous view you have! Great pictures!

Beautiful! Especially the one where the reflection of the deer in the water is just perfect. Thanks for sharing.

Oh Lynne, your view is so wonderful! I love that the deer still come even with the foxes! LOVED seeing these pics! Thank you!!!! XO, Pinky
Love the deer pics...I love to see them pass by and we saw them often in years past. For some reason, and I'm guessing it is because we have lots of coyotes, we have not had any pass through our property this year. I miss seeing them, they are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
What fun it must be to wait for the deer...watch for them and then to capture photo's of them. Sooo very beautiful!

Oh, Lynne, this is so beautiful! Nothing prettier than a deer.
I'm so sorry we're all having this problem!! I've just adding something to my last post - how to back up your blog. Go on over and do this just in case Blogger decides to really mess us up!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Hi Lynne, WOW!!! great photos of the deer. I believe that the doe that visited our back yard last year while expecting, and then later bringing her two fawn back with her, is visting us again. ;) She has a dark spot on the inside of her back leg, so unless they all have that spot, it's the same deer. She likes the pears from our tree, even when they are just starting, and even eats the leaves. Last year we had so much fun watching the squirrels knocking the pears down and the doe eating them. I hope that we get the same treat again this year.
Hope that you're enjoying the weekend, and getting some rest.
Hugs
