~ Chasing the Bee ~

Hello everyone,
After being down the last 4 1/2 days with "something", I'm finally able to sit up without being dizzy. I'm not sure what I had, sure don't want anyone else to have it. I couldn't stand, or walk across the floor, the majority of these last few days I was sleeping. Now, anyone that knows me, knows I don't sleep in the middle of the day. Folks I don't get down often, when I do I go all the way down, hopefully I'm on the up hill swing of things now. I've been looking forward to getting around to visiting everyone, only to discover Blogger was down for a while due to maintenance issues. Hopefully, they have those all resolved and our Blogging lives can go on as scheduled. lol
Last weekend while out walking around the yard, I couldn't resist taking a few shots of all the pink going on. Perfect to share with you and Beverly for Pink Saturday. It has taken over the East side of the house. In the process I spotted a bumble bee.
It became a game between the two of us whether I could get a shot to share with you.
Come along and enjoy the process of "chasing the bee"!Have you spotted him yet? He's a sneaky little devil. Not one to cave under pressure I finally got a decent shot of this fast little creature. OK! Maybe this isn't his best side, (do bee's have best sides?) at least you could see how diligent I was in capturing a shot to share. lolLINKING TO:
Hope each of you is having a super weekend.

Lynne, enjoyed chasing the bee. I have a bee hive out in my back yard and so enjoy the girls! Found one that was drowning this morning in my 1/2empty fountain. I pulled her out and hope for the best.

May I ask what beautiful plant this is? I am thinking a columbine but I have not seen such a pretty pink one. Would you tell me about it- easy to grow? etc. I think I would love to try it!! If the bees love it as much as your little one it would be wonderful to have in the garden!

Good to hear that you're feeling better. Sounds like an inner ear thing.... not fun!

Your flowers are so beautiful, I'm not familiar with them...... they probably won't grow in Texas....but they sure are pretty.... cute little bee too!

Lynne, So sorry to hear that you weren't feeling well, hope the days ahead will find you back to good health.

I've been busy doing different projects around the house and lots of house cleaning. But I've also been glued to my computer watching Bald Eagles. Yep....Bald Eagles. You can read all about it if your interested on my blog. It's a litle tricky to read, but you'll see when you get there.

FYI... I can't stop thinking about those lanterns you have in your shop. My sister was down in Ga. visiting her daughter, I almost asked her if she and her daughter would take a drive to your store, but I chickened out.:o( Maybe next time, if you still have some in stock.

Stay well..
Hugs

Oh, I sure hope you are well on your way to feeling perky! It stinks being "down"!!!

Your columbine is beautiful.....and so is that bumble bee! I haven't seen any buzzing around....but I don't have the tempting flower nectar that you do to draw them in! They are amazing creatures....but I don't mess with 'em!

Can you believe how COLD it is? OMG...in the 90s just a couple of days ago. Actually, I'm glad it turned cool...our A/C isn't working and the repair guy can't get here til Thurs.

Hope you have a great Pink Sat. and a wonderful weekend! L, dana

Sounds like vertigo~not a fun thing at all. I've had it a couple of times and then it just goes away. Really a strange thing to go through.
I loved chasing your bee and your flowers are so pretty. He sure seems busy! Hope you have a wonderful Pink Saturday!!

Hi Lynne!
I'm so sorry I've been so late in getting my bum over here for a visit. And I'm sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. It sure seems to be going around blogaritaville.
That little bugger (pun intended *winks*) sure led you on a merry chase! But you got him in the end! Beauriful shots of flowers too girlfriend! I wish we had something...anything blooming at my house. I keep waiting for the sun to shine. Could you send some of yours my way? *winks* Vanna

I love your pink columbine! would you consider mailing seeds? I would love to have that color in my yard. I have one columbine that looks like a mini purple cauliflower. the tiny blossoms are shaped like the veg. Your garden must be lovely! Do not be shy about putting more pictures on your blog!

I have to admit I was searching all over for that elusive bee. Love the pink flowers. Nearly all the flowers in my gardens are pink except for the hydrangeas. Sure hope today finds you up and walking all over the place and feeling much better. HPS
